MP9 | Hypnotic (Factory New)

This is the MP9 | Hypnotic in Factory New (FN), with a float running from 0.00 to 0.07. It is a Restricted skin from the Arms Deal 2 Collection, a submachine gun for Counter-Terrorists. The skin comes in only two wears, and Factory New takes up almost the whole scale.

What the MP9 | Hypnotic looks like in Factory New

The body carries black-and-white stripes that bend to follow the shape of the parts. The stripes run over the receiver, handguard, grip and foregrip, following the curves. The stock and magazine have no pattern.

There are two colors: deep black and a light silvery white, with the stock frame and magazine in dark gray. The stripes vary in width, in places converging in a funnel, with strong metallic glints on the light areas.

The surface is glossy and even. In Factory New the stripes run unbroken, with no worn edges.

What to check before buying

Differences between copies of the MP9 | Hypnotic come down to this:

• float: Factory New covers 0.07 of the skin's 0.08 scale, or 88%;

• version: regular or StatTrak;

• name tag and stickers: on the MP9 | Hypnotic they stay with the listing.

The MP9 | Hypnotic in this wear is a tight band of 0.00 to 0.07, where telling listings apart is hard.

What the MP9 | Hypnotic costs in Factory New

Minimal Wear is the only other wear of the skin, and it is cheaper by a factor of 1.9.

Among the nine Restricted MP9 skins, the Factory New copy ranks third by price from the top. Only Stained Glass and Bulldozer are higher, and Bulldozer costs about 90 times as much. Rose Iron is cheaper by about 40%.

The stripes cover most of the body, but the stock and magazine stay clean. Stickers look best on those smooth areas. On the striped receiver the pattern fights with a small image.
