MP9 | Pine (Factory New)

The MP9 | Pine in Factory New (FN) is a solid swamp-green submachine gun with a float from 0.00 to 0.07. It is Consumer Grade, from The Boreal Collection, and its side is Counter-Terrorist. You can buy the MP9 | Pine for CS2 in five wears, from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

What the MP9 | Pine looks like in Factory New

The skin is a single tone: olive-green paint over the receiver, the handguard, the grip and the front grip. The magazine and stock frame are dark gray, almost black. There is no artwork, the surface is matte, and you see only the plastic texture and the factory ribbing.

In Factory New the coat is even, with no scuffs on the matte paint. Valve's description calls the skin painted solid green, and that is an accurate summary.

Where the MP9 | Pine came from

The MP9 | Pine was released on March 31, 2025. In the note for that update, Valve wrote that it had added three new collections to the weekly reward list: Ascent, Boreal and Radiant. Boreal is on that list, and Boreal skins, the MP9 | Pine among them, come through the weekly reward.

What to check before buying

Before buying an MP9 | Pine, check the following:

• float: this wear is given the band 0.00 to 0.07;

• any name tag or stickers already on this MP9 | Pine.

The artwork does not vary, so pattern plays no part in the choice. The 0.00 to 0.07 band is narrow, and the copies are nearly indistinguishable.

What the MP9 | Pine costs in Factory New

The prices by wear run unusually on this skin:

• Minimal Wear and Field-Tested stand level with Factory New;

• Well-Worn is twice as expensive;

• Battle-Scarred is twelve and a half times as expensive.

Among the eleven Consumer Grade MP9 skins, it sits near the bottom edge. Only two are cheaper, MP9 | Buff Blue and MP9 | Multi-Terrain, and by a few percent at that. MP9 | Bee-Tron and MP9 | Dizzy stand level. Above comes MP9 | Army Sheen, three times higher. MP9 | Green Plaid, MP9 | Storm and MP9 | Dry Season cost an order of magnitude more or beyond.

Getting the MP9 | Pine

The MP9 | Pine does not drop from cases. Boreal is on the weekly reward list for playtime. A contract will not produce it: in the collection this is the lowest rank.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The MP9 | Pine has no StatTrak version and no Souvenir packages.

Stickers and craft on the MP9 | Pine

A flat matte green does not get in the way of stickers: there is no artwork to fight them. Light and yellow stickers show distinctly, while green and dark gray ones merge into the body and magazine.

Who this wear suits

Factory New on the MP9 | Pine is justified in these cases:

• you want a solid green submachine gun with clean paint;

• you want factory-fresh quality at the price of Minimal Wear and Field-Tested;

• you are assembling skins from The Boreal Collection.
