Description

The MP9 | Pine in Well-Worn (WW) is a plain green submachine gun with no artwork, where wear is the only thing that changes its look. In this wear the float runs from 0.38 to 0.45, a tenth of the finish's own scale, which stretches from 0.00 to 0.70. It is Consumer Grade, the lowest rank in the game, and part of The Boreal Collection.

What the MP9 | Pine looks like in Well-Worn

The finish is a solid olive-green fill across the whole body and both grips. Valve describes it in one phrase: painted a solid green. The magazine, the muzzle section and the folding stock stay dark, and thin horizontal grooves run across the upper part of the body. That is the model's own relief, since the finish has no artwork.

Plain paint has nothing to hide, so in Well-Worn every scratch and scuff on the edges shows at once. Wear is fixed at drop and does not change afterward: a listing at 0.38 and one at 0.45 remain exactly as they dropped.

Where the MP9 | Pine came from

The MP9 | Pine appeared on March 31, 2025, when the Boreal Collection was added to the game. Valve's note for that update lists it among three new collections for the weekly reward list.

What to check before buying

When choosing an MP9 | Pine listing, these things matter:

  • the float: the closer to 0.38, the fewer marks on the edges, and the closer to 0.45, the more;

  • the edges of the body and grips, where scuffs show best against flat green;

  • the stickers and name tag this MP9 already carries.

Every copy of the MP9 | Pine is painted the same way. There is barely anything to choose by float, because the span from 0.38 to 0.45 is short.

What the MP9 | Pine costs in Well-Worn

The usual rule of "the better the wear, the higher the price" does not hold here. Factory New, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred differ from Well-Worn by less than three percent, so they are level with it. Only Minimal Wear stands out, at about 1.4 times higher.

Among Consumer Grade MP9 skins, this one is in the cheapest group, together with MP9 | Bee-Tron and MP9 | Slide. MP9 | Sand Dashed comes in a little higher, and the most expensive in this wear is MP9 | Green Plaid.

Getting the MP9 | Pine

The MP9 | Pine does not appear in CS2 cases. The Boreal Collection is on the weekly reward list for playtime, and copies arrive from there.

A trade-up cannot produce this skin: Consumer Grade is the lowest rank, and nothing sits below it in the set. As an input it works, though, since ten Consumer Grade skins from the Boreal Collection give one Industrial Grade skin.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The MP9 | Pine has no StatTrak version, and no Souvenir packages were issued for this finish.

Stickers and craft on the MP9 | Pine

The ground is plain, so a sticker looks just as it was drawn, with no pattern or lettering competing. The sides of the body and both grips are free. For a craft it is a clean green canvas, and you pick sticker colors to suit it.

Who this wear suits

A Well-Worn MP9 | Pine is worth buying if at least one of these fits:

  • you want a plain MP9 in CS2 without lettering or patterns;

  • a Consumer Grade skin from the Boreal Collection matters to you;

  • you want an even green fill with visible scuffs on the edges.

If you want clean paint, Factory New costs the same. Buying Well-Worn to save money makes no sense here.
