MP9 | Urban Sovereign (Field-Tested)

Field-Tested (FT) on the MP9 | Urban Sovereign covers floats from 0.15 to 0.38, 23% of the finish's scale. It is a Restricted skin from The Dead Hand Collection, with brown-and-white graffiti over a dark body. In CS2 this wear is the one to take if you want the look without heavy scuffing.

What the MP9 | Urban Sovereign looks like in Field-Tested

A dark gray body is covered in layers of graffiti: white and brown tags run from the handguard to the magazine, and the letters are hard to read. The bright spots are the orange stock with its guard and the turquoise checkered patch on the grip.

In Field-Tested the edges of the body and magazine are already scuffed, while the turquoise accents still hold. Wear is set at the drop, so a copy does not age after you buy it.

Where the MP9 | Urban Sovereign came from

The skin was released on March 11, 2026, with The Dead Hand Collection. Its author is Sorarox, and its number in Valve's catalog is 1423. Valve's note mentions 17 community finishes and 22 new gloves, which it calls rare special items.

What to check before buying

When choosing an MP9 | Urban Sovereign, note the following:

• float: this wear spans 0.15 to 0.38, a long stretch, and copies at the two ends differ visibly;

• pattern: the drawing is fixed and does not depend on the copy;

• other people's stickers and a name tag: the new owner gets them along with the gun.

What the MP9 | Urban Sovereign costs in Field-Tested

Two wears sit above Field-Tested: Factory New, 4.2 times as much, and Minimal Wear, 1.8 times as much. Well-Worn is 1.1 times cheaper and Battle-Scarred 1.4 times cheaper.

Of eight Restricted MP9 skins priced in this wear, this one is the cheapest. Closest to it are Ruby Poison Dart and Goo, and the priciest are Rose Iron, Stained Glass and Bulldozer.

Getting the MP9 | Urban Sovereign

The skin can drop from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. The trade-up contract is the second route: ten Mil-Spec skins give one Restricted skin, and the result is taken from the collection of one of the inputs. If all ten come from The Dead Hand Collection, the result comes from there. The player steers the outcome through the choice of skins, and the rules do not require a single set.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The MP9 | Urban Sovereign has a StatTrak version; there is no Souvenir version.

Stickers and craft on the MP9 | Urban Sovereign

In Field-Tested a sticker lands on a scuffed, graphic background. Small multicolor stickers fight with it most; clean silhouettes and large single-color marks look tidier. The turquoise and orange accents give a guide for matching color.

Who this wear suits

Field-Tested on the MP9 | Urban Sovereign is justified when:

• you want a balance between price and the condition of the paint;

• you want to pick a listing by float across the wide band from 0.15 to 0.38;

• a Restricted skin is what your trade-up contract calls for.
