Description

The Nova | Rain Station in Field-Tested (FT) is a shotgun in dark gray-blue paint for CS2. It has Industrial Grade rank and comes from The Train 2025 Collection, with no case. The wear is cut off at the top by the skin's float ceiling of 0.35, so it spans 0.15 to 0.35.

What the Nova | Rain Station looks like in Field-Tested

The gun is coated in a cold dark gray with a blue cast. The tone is even across the surface, and larger, darker blotches can be made out on the receiver and the stock. The pattern has very little contrast, so there is no detail to pick out. Dark brown covers the barrel and the magazine tube, and the front sight is green.

A copy keeps the wear it had at the drop. The surface is smooth, and no scuffing is visible. The Field-Tested band is 0.15 to 0.35, and copies near the top of it are scuffed more than those near the bottom.

Where the Nova | Rain Station came from

Valve describes the artwork as a pattern in different shades of blue, and remarks that a steady drizzle adds atmosphere. The Train 2025 Collection was released on March 31, 2025, and the skin has been part of it since launch.

What to check before buying

A few points deserve a look before buying a Nova | Rain Station:

  • float: inside 0.15 to 0.35, the difference between the top and the bottom of the span is noticeable;

  • the name tag and stickers, if this Nova | Rain Station already has them;

  • the wear itself: the skin has only three, Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested.

Every copy of the skin carries the artwork in exactly the same way.

What the Nova | Rain Station costs in Field-Tested

Factory New and Minimal Wear are dearer than Field-Tested by only a few percent. The price barely moves between wears.

Among the six Industrial Grade Nova skins, Rain Station is the cheapest in this wear. The same few percent separate it from Turquoise Pour, Morning Sun, Candy Apple and Caged Steel. Rust Coat costs about ten times more than the rest.

Getting the Nova | Rain Station

The skin has no regular case. Copies come out of tournament Souvenir packages: the Austin 2025 Train Souvenir Package and the Budapest 2025 Train Souvenir Package. A trade-up cannot build it, since Industrial Grade is the lowest rank of the collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

No StatTrak version of the Nova | Rain Station exists. A Souvenir version does, and it comes from the two Train 2025 packages.

Stickers and craft on the Nova | Rain Station

The paint is dark and almost without pattern, so light stickers stand out on it. Dark ones merge with the body and read worse. There is enough free space on the receiver and the stock for one large sticker.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Nova | Rain Station in this wear makes sense on these terms:

  • you want a dark shotgun without an attention-grabbing pattern;

  • the 0.15 to 0.35 scale suits you, and you can pick a copy closer to the lower edge;

  • you need a base for light stickers in CS2.
