P2000 | Wicked Sick (Field-Tested)

In Field-Tested (FT) the P2000 | Wicked Sick sits at the working middle of the scale. The neon geometry on the slide still reads as a whole, while the white field beneath it has gone dull. Floats here run from 0.15 to 0.38. It is a Classified skin, and it drops from the Revolution Case in CS2.

What the P2000 | Wicked Sick looks like in Field-Tested

The slide is white, covered in geometric graffiti: triangles and stripes with black outlines, orange toward the muzzle end and turquoise by the rear sight. The grip is painted separately in violet-purple fading into pink, and the color break along the frame is easy to see. The frame itself is dark gray. A small signature sits on the slide, and the grip carries thin vertical lines and a light emblem.

In Field-Tested the white field of the slide is the first thing to get dirty. It turns gray in patches, and the black outline of the shapes beside those patches dulls. The grip corners go next, where the violet lightens to gray. Toward 0.38 the scuffing shows even in the preview; near the low end of the band the body is almost clean.

Where the P2000 | Wicked Sick came from

The finish was made by PGLind and reached the game through the Steam Workshop. The P2000 | Wicked Sick was added on February 9, 2023, together with the whole Revolution Collection. In the release note Valve described the Revolution Case as a set of seventeen finishes by community artists, and named the gloves from the Clutch Case as its rare items. Valve's catalog number for the finish is 1224.

What to check before buying

Between one P2000 | Wicked Sick listing and the next, these things change:

• the float within 0.15 to 0.38, which decides how gray the white slide has gone;

• the state of the black outline on the triangles near the muzzle end;

• any stickers on the body and a name tag, if there is one.

Every copy of the P2000 | Wicked Sick carries the same pattern. In this wear the band of 0.15 to 0.38 holds both nearly clean bodies and visibly worn ones.

What the P2000 | Wicked Sick costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs almost four times as much, and Minimal Wear about one and a half times as much. The scale hardly slopes downward: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred sit below this wear by a few cents, and the order among the three lowest wears rests on that trifle.

This pistol has only three Classified skins, and the P2000 | Wicked Sick is the cheapest of them. The P2000 | Imperial Dragon costs almost four times as much, and the P2000 | Corticera five times.

Getting the P2000 | Wicked Sick

The first route is the Revolution Case, where the finish sits at the Classified rank. The second is a trade-up: hand in ten skins of the rank below, the collection free. Ten out of this set steer the result back into it. The set has three Classified items, so the chance of landing this finish is one in three.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The P2000 | Wicked Sick has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were ever issued for this finish: they were made only for the tournament map collections. But you can build a Souvenir copy yourself. The Souvenir-O-Matic applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is why the odd Souvenir copy turns up now and then even where no such packages ever existed.

Stickers and craft on the P2000 | Wicked Sick

There is plenty of color on the body already, so a loud sticker fights the graffiti. The calmest choice is a black-and-white logo on the violet grip, where the field is even. The slide has almost no free space, and worn white holds light stickers poorly: their edges show.

Who this wear suits

Buying the P2000 | Wicked Sick in Field-Tested pays off when:

• you want a bright pistol for CS2 and don't need to pay four times as much for a factory body;

• you are willing to check the preview, because listings within the band differ a lot;

• the lower wears don't suit, since the white slide is already gray in them.

The saving on Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred here is measured in cents, while the scuffing on the white grows noticeably.
