Description

The P250 | Kintsugi in Field-Tested (FT) puts an orange bird and gold seams over ivory, touched by wear. This wear is given a float of 0.15 to 0.38, which is 23% of the finish's scale. Classified rank; the pistol sits in The Dead Hand Collection.

What the P250 | Kintsugi looks like in Field-Tested

A bright orange bird with reddish tones spreads across the ivory, from the slide to the front edge of the grip. Gold lines run over it and around it, like the seams on mended crockery, and the trigger guard is gold too. At the base of the grip the light base gives way to blue-gray waves.

The name refers to the Japanese technique of kintsugi, in which cracks in ceramics are filled with gold. In Field-Tested the light base is already dulling along the edges, and in places the gold lines lose their shine. The orange patch is large, so the bird stays readable. Wear is fixed at the drop.

Where the P250 | Kintsugi came from

Blazer is listed as the designer of the finish. In the Steam Workshop the work was posted by the author Volkovyi, under the title "P250 | Kintsugi (Original)", on May 7, 2025. The P250 | Kintsugi appeared on March 11, 2026, when The Dead Hand Collection was added to the game. In Valve's catalog the finish carries number 1420.

Valve's caption for the finish reads: like the good china, this weapon is brought out only on special occasions.

What to check before buying

What counts when buying the P250 | Kintsugi:

  • float: it decides whether a copy sits closer to 0.15 or to 0.38;

  • the gold seams and the edges of the slide, where scuffs show most;

  • the applied name and the stickers, which on the P250 | Kintsugi stay with the listing.

Every copy of the P250 | Kintsugi carries the same artwork. The wear stretches from 0.15 to 0.38, with nearly clean copies at one end and visibly worn ones at the other.

What the P250 | Kintsugi costs in Field-Tested

The other wears compared with this one:

  • Factory New is nearly four times as expensive;

  • Minimal Wear is about twice as expensive;

  • Well-Worn is level, the difference being under three percent;

  • Battle-Scarred is cheaper by about a sixth.

Among Classified P250s in this wear the finish sits in the lower part of the range. Only P250 | Franklin, P250 | Visions and P250 | Epicenter are cheaper, and with the last of them it is almost level. Above come P250 | Cartel and P250 | Asiimov, about twice as expensive.

Getting the P250 | Kintsugi

The P250 | Kintsugi lies in the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. A second route to it is a trade-up: hand in ten skins of the rank below, from anywhere. The result comes from the collection of one input, so the ten are kept to this set. The collection holds five Restricted finishes and three Classified ones, so the chance is one in three. The skin itself is an input for the Covert trade-up, whose result is AWP | Queen's Gambit or Glock-18 | Fully Tuned.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The P250 | Kintsugi has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish exist too, but no souvenir packages were issued for it: those were made only for the tournament map collections. Such copies are built through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the P250 | Kintsugi

Light ivory with one large orange patch leaves plenty of clean background. Black and dark blue stickers give contrast and do not argue with the bird. Gold ones repeat the seam lines and merge into them, while white ones get lost on the light base. For a light CS2 loadout the bird becomes a warm accent.

Who this wear suits

Buying the P250 | Kintsugi in Field-Tested makes sense if at least one of these fits:

  • you want the bird with the gold seams, and visible wear does not bother you;

  • paying double for Minimal Wear is not on your list;

  • you want a light base for dark stickers on a P250 in CS2.

If you want nearly clean ivory, look at Minimal Wear with a float of 0.07 to 0.15, which costs about twice as much.
