Pinups Capsule

The Pinups Capsule holds the work of a community artist, ninjasia. Inside is one random sticker out of 12 entries.

What's inside the capsule

The list has six heroines: Ivette, Kimberly, Martha, Merietta, Sherry and Tamara. Each comes in two finishes, regular and holographic (Holo).

The author of the works is ninjasia, a community artist. Each heroine is drawn separately, so six names mean six different portraits.

The designs are in the spirit of pin-up postcards: retro portraits in round and cut-out frames. Among them are a girl with two red pistols and a worker in a blue shirt with a wrench. There is also a girl in a checkered kerchief, an angel with white wings and a blonde in a pink shirt.

Exactly one sticker drops. Valve does not publish the odds between regular and holographic ones, so there are no percentages.

Where the Pinups Capsule came from

This is not a tournament capsule but a selection of work by a community artist, as Valve states in the description. The capsule itself looks like a glass dome on a golden stand.

The description says nothing about proceeds. There are no teams and no player autographs in the set: all twelve entries are works by ninjasia.

Opening the capsule

The designs include an angel with white wings, a girl with a wrench in a blue shirt, a heroine with two red pistols and a girl in a checkered kerchief. All share one retro manner, so the selection reads as a series.

The holographic version shimmers in the light, while the regular one stays matte. The drawing is the same in both, and only the finish differs.

This capsule opens without a key as well. Inside is one random sticker out of twelve.

The sticker fits any firearm. There are five slots, and the player chooses position and rotation. It cannot go on knives or gloves.

Wear only moves forward: you add it by hand and cannot remove it. On the last step the sticker disappears. The weapon's float does not depend on it.

The capsule has no wears, no StatTrak, no Souvenir version and no trade-up contract.

What the Pinups Capsule costs

The set is small: six drawings in two finishes. So the price depends mainly on the finish, regular or holographic, and not on which heroine drops.

Holographic versions cost more than regular ones, and they are what makes an opening interesting. Valve does not publish odds, so there are no guarantees.

The issue has stopped, and openings take copies out of circulation. For CS2 you can buy the capsule for a collection. Stickers give no gameplay advantage in CS2.
