PP-Bizon | Space Cat (Battle-Scarred)

The PP-Bizon | Space Cat in Battle-Scarred (BS) has the Bizon's longest float band, from 0.45 to 0.67. The finish scale is cut off at 0.67, which is a distinctive fact: the skin never reaches 1.0. It is a Restricted skin that works on either side, and it is the Bizon with the cat in space.

What the PP-Bizon | Space Cat looks like in Battle-Scarred

The base is bone-colored, white and cream, and the artwork on it is dark gray, nearly black. The cat, planet rings and star dots are laid down in thin lines like hatching, running over the whole receiver and drum. The drum ring, muzzle and trigger are purple, the stock is black and the grip stays light.

A pale base picks up dirt early, and in Battle-Scarred it already lies over the whole body. The thin hatching on the edges of the drum and receiver breaks first, and the cat there is left in fragments. The stock and the purple parts hold up better.

Where the PP-Bizon | Space Cat came from

Maloo drew the finish. The skin came out on January 21, 2022, together with The Dreams & Nightmares Collection. That same day Valve presented the Dreams & Nightmares Case, which holds 17 Steam Workshop finishes. The finish's catalog number at Valve is 1125.

What to check before buying

Before paying for this Bizon, look at three things:

• float: anywhere from 0.45 to 0.67, and a copy near the lower limit looks clearly more intact;

• pattern: it never changes, so the pattern index plays no part in choosing;

• whatever stickers and name tag that copy already wears.

Where the spread inside the wear comes from

The artwork does not vary, so copies differ only in wear. Between 0.45 and 0.67 the scuffing builds up visibly: at the upper end the cat's hatching has lost some of its lines.

What the PP-Bizon | Space Cat costs in Battle-Scarred

Factory New is dearer by two and a quarter times and Minimal Wear by 1.27. Field-Tested is level, and Well-Worn is dearer by just a few percent. The lower wears barely differ in price; the gap shows only at the top.

In Battle-Scarred the Space Cat is the cheapest of the six Restricted Bizons. Fuel Rod costs 1.7 times as much, Embargo three times, Osiris four, Blue Streak more than five and Antique ten.

Getting the PP-Bizon | Space Cat

It drops from the Dreams & Nightmares Case. The contract is the other road: ten Mil-Spec skins from any collections, and the result comes from the collection of one of the inputs. Ten skins from The Dreams & Nightmares Collection make the outcome predictable, but they are not required.

StatTrak and Souvenir

This Bizon comes in a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages exist for the finish.

Stickers and craft on the PP-Bizon | Space Cat

The cat's hatching is thin, so large bright stickers on the receiver cover the artwork. Stickers on the drum suit this Bizon, where the purple ring sets the color, because they do not fight the engraving.

Who this wear suits

Battle-Scarred makes sense for these jobs:

• the cheapest Restricted Bizon, with the cat engraving for a collection;

• stickers as the main feature of a build and the skin as the backdrop;

• picking by float within the long 0.45 to 0.67 band.
