Battle-Scarred (BS) is the widest stretch of the R8 Revolver | Crazy 8's scale: float from 0.45 to 1.00, more than half of the whole range. The rank is Restricted, the skin drops from the Recoil Case, and in CS2 it has a StatTrak version. The barrel here is purple, and an eight stands on the grip.

What the R8 Revolver | Crazy 8 looks like in Battle-Scarred

The barrel and the top rail are painted purple, shading from dark to light, with black crosses scattered over it. The cylinder is dark with pale green chevrons, and a pale green eight is drawn on the dark-wood grip. Valve describes the finish briefly: a purple barrel and the number 8 on the grip.

The purple barrel and the eight are large details, and they read at any wear. In Battle-Scarred the revolver looks the most worn of the five, but the artwork stays the same. Wear is fixed at the drop, and a listing does not change with time.

Where the R8 Revolver | Crazy 8 came from

The Recoil Collection was opened in the game on July 4, 2022, and the skin was there from day one. In the post "A New Cassssssse" Valve described the Recoil Case as a set of seventeen finishes from community artists.

What to check before buying

When choosing this revolver, pay attention to the following:

• the float: across the wide stretch of 0.45 to 1.00, very different copies hide under one wear label;


• stickers on the body and a name tag, where present;


• whether the copy is regular or StatTrak.

A pattern index makes no difference on this revolver, because all copies share one drawing.

What the R8 Revolver | Crazy 8 costs in Battle-Scarred

The picture is unusual here: Field-Tested is cheaper by 1.18 times, and Well-Worn by 1.28 times. Minimal Wear is higher, by 1.83 times, and Factory New by five and a half times.

There are only three Restricted R8 revolvers. In this wear the skin sits in the middle: it is cheaper than Reboot, which is two and a half times higher, and dearer than Banana Cannon.

Getting the R8 Revolver | Crazy 8

The skin falls from the Recoil Case. The second route is a trade-up contract: ten Mil-Spec skins from any collections, and one of the inputs decides the result's collection. The makeup of the ten steers the pick: all ten from The Recoil Collection give a result from there.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The R8 Revolver | Crazy 8 has a StatTrak version, and there are no Souvenir packages for this finish.

Stickers and craft on the R8 Revolver | Crazy 8

The grip with the eight is the one even surface where stickers in CS2 do not fight the purple paint. Light and green ones echo the color of the digit; bright reds are better left out.

Who this wear suits

Battle-Scarred is a sensible buy on the R8 Revolver | Crazy 8 if:

• you want a Restricted revolver in CS2 at a small price;


• wear is not a concern and the large artwork matters more;


• you need a listing you will not mind putting stickers on.
