Sergeant Bombson | SWAT

Sergeant Bombson | SWAT is an Exceptional Counter-Terrorist agent from the Broken Fang Agents set. By price he sits a little below the middle of that set.

What the Sergeant Bombson | SWAT looks like

A bearded fighter in a camouflage cap and mirrored glasses, with a large headset. Bulky pads sit on the shoulders, the vest on the chest reads SWAT, and a radio antenna runs up behind his back.

The palette is olive-gray, with a camouflage pattern on the cap and the armor. The look is heavy and protective, closer to a bomb disposal tech than an assault trooper.

Where the Sergeant Bombson | SWAT came from

Sergeant Bombson is part of the Broken Fang Agents set, released on December 3, 2020 alongside Operation Broken Fang.

Valve says Tyler Bobson earned his nickname as the best explosive ordnance disposal officer in SWAT. He finds even the best-hidden homemade bombs, and his hearing, as Valve jokes, is second only to that of the greater wax moth.

What the agent does in game

The model can be set only on the Counter-Terrorist side, so Sergeant Bombson is seen only by those who play it. In CS2 the choice has no effect on damage, accuracy or hitboxes. It is purely an outer layer.

There are no variants of Sergeant Bombson. All copies are identical.

Which gloves go with it

The uniform is olive-gray, the vest is dark, and there is armor on the shoulders. Gloves on the hands are seen separately and work as a pair with this palette.

Gloves in earthy and dark green shades, without a large pattern, will do. Pale leather and bright colors fight the camouflage. With Sergeant Bombson this is a choice by looks, not a rule of the game.

What the Sergeant Bombson | SWAT costs

Of the twenty agents in the Broken Fang Agents set, Bombson ranks eleventh by price. Little Kev | The Professionals is almost twice as high.

Safecracker Voltzmann | The Professionals is more than a quarter higher, and Cmdr. Mae 'Dead Cold' Jamison | SWAT only a little. Below, Street Soldier | Phoenix is a couple of percent cheaper, and Bio-Haz Specialist | SWAT about a third.

Who it suits

Sergeant Bombson is worth buying for CS2 in these cases:

• you want a Counter-Terrorist model in a camouflage cap and heavy armor;

• the bomb-disposal look of SWAT with mirrored glasses appeals to you;

• you are collecting the Broken Fang Agents set and want an Exceptional agent from the middle of the price order.
