Description

The Skill Groups Capsule holds stickers drawn by the community: the competitive rank badges. Inside is one random sticker out of eighteen.

What's inside the capsule

The list has nine ranks, from Silver to Global Elite. They are Silver, Gold Nova, Master Guardian, Master Guardian Elite and Distinguished Master Guardian, followed by Legendary Eagle, Legendary Eagle Master, Supreme Master First Class and Global Elite.

Some ranks also exist in a holographic finish, for example Gold Nova, Master Guardian and Master Guardian Elite. In total the list has eighteen entries.

Exactly one sticker drops. The odds between the plain and holographic ones are not equal, and Valve does not publish exact numbers.

The rank names are written as they appear in the game. The artwork follows the hierarchy of the competitive mode, from the lowest rank to the top one, where Global Elite stands.

Where the Skill Groups Capsule came from

The capsule is assembled from the work of the community artist daniDem. It is not a tournament set: the Legends, Challengers and Contenders seeding tiers do not appear here.

The author of the set is the community artist daniDem, and every entry in it is his work. The capsule has one theme: the ranks by which players are rated in the competitive mode.

Opening the capsule

No key is needed: the capsule opens on its own, and you pay only for the capsule.

The sticker that drops goes on any firearm, with five slots for it. The player chooses the position and the rotation, and stickers do not go on knives or gloves.

Wear is added to a sticker by hand and cannot be removed, and at the last step the sticker vanishes. There is no float, no StatTrak, no Souvenir version and no trade-up contract.

Five slots let you put your own rank on a weapon and another one beside it, say the top rank, as a joke.

A rank sticker stays purely a picture: it neither changes nor shows your real rank in the competitive mode.

What the Skill Groups Capsule costs

The price of the capsule is set by its list: nine ranks and holographic versions of some of them. The run is closed, and no new capsules will appear.

The value sits in the holographic badges of the high ranks, and their odds are not published. Whether to open one for profit or keep it sealed is up to the owner: with a closed run, supply only shrinks while capsules get opened.

You can buy the capsule for CS2 for the draw of badges. In CS2 stickers give no advantage.

The buyer gets not a specific sticker but a random one out of eighteen: you cannot choose the rank in advance.

Who it suits

  • you want the badge of a particular rank on a weapon;

  • you are interested in the holographic versions of the badges;

  • you collect sealed capsules from a closed run;

  • you want a simple sticker for testing position and wear.
