Slingshot | Phoenix

Slingshot | Phoenix is an Exceptional Terrorist agent from the Shattered Web Agents set. By price, it sits fourteenth of twenty-two in that set.

What the Slingshot | Phoenix looks like

A red knit balaclava with a white stripe down the center covers the head, with cutouts for the eyes and mouth. Underneath is a red long-sleeve top.

Over it goes a brown armored vest with a white phoenix emblem on the chest. The shoulder straps are dark, and a small patch sits near the shoulder. The palette is red and brown, and the white emblem on the vest stands out clearly.

Where the Slingshot | Phoenix came from

The agent belongs to the Shattered Web Agents set, released on November 19, 2019 alongside Operation Shattered Web. The set covers several factions, and Slingshot serves with the Phoenix.

Valve calls him a key part of the Phoenix's edge in close-quarters fighting: composed and tense, he gets heavy results out of scarce resources. According to the same entry, he earned the nickname Slingshot after retaking a Phoenix base armed with only an M9 Bayonet and captured weapons.

What the agent does in game

An agent takes the model slot of its own side, so Slingshot is visible only when you play Terrorists. In CS2 the choice of model has no effect on stats, damage, accuracy or hitboxes.

There are no variants of this agent. Every copy is identical, and each model exists in a single form.

Which gloves go with it

The red-brown palette points to earthy gloves in brown and dark shades, without a large pattern. They don't compete with the vest.

Pale leather looks harsh next to the red balaclava. Cool gray-blue tones give contrast, and a bright multicolor pattern is too much here.

What the Slingshot | Phoenix costs

Above it stand B Squadron Officer | SAS, about a sixth higher, Markus Delrow | FBI HRT, an eighth, and 'Two Times' McCoy | USAF TACP, a fifteenth.

Below, the field is tight. Prof. Shahmat | Elite Crew is practically level, Blackwolf | Sabre is two percent cheaper, and 'Blueberries' Buckshot | NSWC SEAL about a twentieth.

Who it suits

The Slingshot | Phoenix is worth buying for CS2 when:

• you want a Terrorist agent in a red balaclava with a phoenix emblem;

• you like the look of a close-quarters fighter from the Phoenix faction;

• the middle of the Shattered Web Agents price order is where you want to be.
