StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris (Well-Worn)

The StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris in Well-Worn (WW) takes a narrow slice of the scale, 0.38 to 0.45, just 0.07 out of 1.00. It is an AWP with a kill counter, Restricted rank, from The Prisma Collection. It drops from the Prisma Case.

What the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris looks like in Well-Worn

The rifle is gray-blue, and a green snake wraps its rear half: the receiver, the cheek of the stock and the butt. The tail runs downward. The barrel and bipod are unpainted and stay gray-blue, while the rings at the scope and muzzle brake are bright green.

The snake is lime, with yellow and turquoise highlights, and you can see its scales, its eye and a thin red stroke near the head. Well-Worn is the fourth step of five, just before the most worn wear: the wear is noticeable, but the artwork still reads whole.

Where the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris came from

The artist Graff posted the Workshop submission on October 29, 2018, as "AWP | Atheris". The skin came into the game in March 2019, when The Prisma Collection was added to the game, then still CS:GO. Its Valve finish catalog number is 838.

What to check before buying

What separates one StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris listing from another:

• the figure on the kill counter: the buyer gets it unchanged, and it cannot be reset;

• float: the 0.38 to 0.45 band is narrow, and the green snake looks the same on every listing;

• name tag and stickers: on the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris they stay with the listing.

There are no two different artworks for this skin. The StatTrak Swap Tool trades the readings between two items of one type, and each one leaves with the other's number.

What the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris costs in Well-Worn

Against the regular version in the same wear, the counter premium is about two times. Among the wears of the version itself, Well-Worn is only a little cheaper than Battle-Scarred: about seven percent. Factory New costs five times as much, Minimal Wear two and a half times, and Field-Tested a quarter and a bit more.

Of the five Restricted AWPs with a counter, this skin is second from the top. Only the StatTrak™ AWP | Phobos stands above it, at almost double the price. Below it, in order, come Exoskeleton, Worm God and PAW.

Getting the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris

From the Prisma Case, the counter version drops on equal terms with the regular one. A trade-up contract works too, but all ten inputs must be StatTrak.

StatTrak and Souvenir

If you do not need the counter, go to the regular AWP | Atheris, which has its own page and its own price. The skin has no Souvenir version.

Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris

Stickers of any color show up well on the gray-blue body. Green ones echo the snake, and red ones answer its thin stroke. On the stock, pick small stickers: the snake covers a large part of the rear half.

Who this wear suits

Well-Worn is the sensible pick for the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris if:

• you want a CS2 AWP with a counter, but Battle-Scarred is too worn for you;

• you want a skin that reads whole even with visible wear;

• picking by float does not matter to you, since the 0.38 to 0.45 band is short.
