This is the StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze in Field-Tested (FT), a rust-brown Deagle with a kill counter. It is a Mil-Spec skin from The Spectrum Collection, and the pistol drops from the Spectrum Case. Buying the StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze for CS2 costs about 1.8 times the regular version.
What the StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze looks like in Field-Tested
The frame and rear of the slide are a dark rust brown, while the front half of the slide is a light beige, almost white. The border between the zones is ragged and spotted with drops, as if the paint had peeled. The grip panels are black. On the frame you can make out small dark emblems: crossed lines and a round mark.
By Valve's description, the base is rust-colored and the details are white. The light zone reads as rubbed down to bare metal, and light also shows along the frame edges. In Field-Tested this resemblance to a worn surface is convincing.
What to check before buying
On a StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze, it is worth comparing the following:
- the counter reading: it cannot be reset and passes to the buyer with the listing;
- float: the band is 0.15 to 0.38, and the higher the value, the more light metal shows on the frame;
- the name tag and stickers this StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze already carries.
There is no pattern to choose by, as it is the same on every listing. The 0.15 to 0.38 band is wide: the wear label is one, but the condition differs.
What the StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze costs in Field-Tested
The premium for the counter over the regular version is about 1.8 times. Between wears, the prices of the counter version spread like this:
- Factory New is higher by more than three times;
- Minimal Wear is higher by exactly two times;
- Well-Worn is higher by a quarter;
- Battle-Scarred is higher by about 1.6 times.
Among Mil-Spec Deagles with a counter, the skin is in the middle of a row of five. Higher stand Desert Eagle | Corinthian and Desert Eagle | Blue Ply, lower Desert Eagle | Calligraffiti and Desert Eagle | Bronze Deco.
Getting the StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze
The counter version drops from the Spectrum Case on equal terms with the regular one.
The second route is a trade-up where all ten inputs are StatTrak, since regular skins are not accepted in that exchange.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze without a counter is a separate item, and in this wear it is cheaper. The skin has no Souvenir packages, and a Souvenir copy does not combine with StatTrak.
Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze
The rusty frame is dark, and light stickers read well on it. The light half of the slide is taken by burned-out metal, so light stickers blend into the background there. Dark ones, by contrast, show well. On a counter skin, choose the stickers in advance: the reading cannot be zeroed.
Who this wear suits
The StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Oxide Blaze in this wear is sensible if:
- you want a kill counter on a Deagle with a rusty design;
- the rubbed-down look matters, and factory-fresh costs more than three times as much;
- you want to choose by float within the 0.15 to 0.38 band.
