Sticker | Gold Web

The Sticker | Gold Web is a High Grade sticker from the Shattered Web Sticker Collection. The name promises gold, but in the paper finish the spider is drawn in lilac and blue tones.

What the Sticker | Gold Web looks like

A spider with long curved legs stands in the center, and on its back is an orange-red hourglass mark. The legs and the hood above the head are pale lavender with white highlights, so the whole figure looks like an emblem cut from metal.

The spider sits on a triangular background of web: a dark blue and purple mesh fans out from its abdomen to the corners. The outline is crisp and the fill is dense, with no transparent areas.

The paper finish is matte, with no shine. On a dark weapon the light spider reads sharply, and on a white or gray body the dark triangle holds it in place.

Where the Sticker | Gold Web came from

The sticker belongs to the Shattered Web Sticker Collection, a set of nine stickers on a spider theme. The data gives no exact release date, so none is given here.

It is known that the Gold Web never sat in a capsule.

How the sticker works

The Gold Web goes on any firearm, and there are five sticker slots. The player sets the position and rotation, so the spider can be turned with its legs along the barrel.

Knives and gloves cannot take stickers: they have no slots.

Wear is added by hand and in one direction only. The earlier look cannot be restored, and at the last step the sticker disappears. The weapon's wear and float are not affected. A sticker like this has no StatTrak, no Souvenir version and no trade-up contract.

What the Sticker | Gold Web costs

The main benchmark is the foil version of the same artwork. It costs about seven times more than the paper one: the coloring differs and the rank is rarer, Exotic against High Grade.

In the collection of nine stickers, the paper Gold Web ranks fifth by price, exactly in the middle of the list. It is not the cheapest position, but it is not in the upper part either: four stickers of the collection sit above it.

For CS2 it makes a low-key accent, and it stays a purely visual item. The sticker carries no gameplay bonuses, and what people value is the artwork and its place in the collection.

As for comparison with other stickers of the series, there is one benchmark: the artwork has only two finishes, paper and foil. The paper version shows the whole shape of the spider, and the price gap comes down to shine, color and the rarity of the finish.
