Tec-9 | Decimator (Factory New)

Factory New (FN) is the priciest wear of the Tec-9 | Decimator: a float of 0.00 to 0.07, which is 9% of a scale that runs to 0.75. The rank is Classified; the finish belongs to The Shattered Web Collection and drops from the Shattered Web Case.

What the Tec-9 | Decimator looks like in Factory New

The Tec-9 wears a neon scheme of pink, purple and light blue. A raspberry shroud with round slots covers the barrel, the slide is dark with a light blue stripe along the top, and the gray receiver carries light blue lines. Pink and light blue facets fan out across the black magazine and grip, and pink is spilled across the bottom of the magazine.

In Factory New the lines and facets run without a scuff, and the light blue edge of the slide is even. For neon graphics, clean edges are the whole value of this wear.

Where the Tec-9 | Decimator came from

The skin entered the game on November 19, 2019, with The Shattered Web Collection and the operation of the same name. The data names no author. Valve's description calls the paint job light blue and pink accents, and finishes by jokingly offering to buy the pistol in four installments.

What to check before buying

When picking a Tec-9 | Decimator listing, these matter:

• float: within 0.00 to 0.07 the copies are nearly indistinguishable;

• stickers from a previous owner and a rename on the Tec-9 | Decimator;

• version: StatTrak copies are sold as their own item.

The pattern is the same on every copy of the Tec-9 | Decimator.

What the Tec-9 | Decimator costs in Factory New

The other wears all cost less:

• Minimal Wear, by a factor of 2.6;

• Well-Worn, by 4.3;

• Field-Tested, by 5.3;

• Battle-Scarred, by 5.5.

The biggest step falls between Factory New and Minimal Wear. Among the three Classified Tec-9s, this skin is the most expensive in its top wear. The Tec-9 | Fuel Injector is two and a half times cheaper, and the Tec-9 | Remote Control about four times.

Getting the Tec-9 | Decimator

Besides the Shattered Web Case, the second road to the Tec-9 | Decimator is a trade-up of ten skins one rank down. Among them are AK-47 | Rat Rod, AUG | Arctic Wolf and P2000 | Obsidian. Pick them from this collection, which has three Classified skins, and the chance of getting this pistol is one in three.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Tec-9 | Decimator has a StatTrak version; there are no Souvenir packages.

Stickers and craft on the Tec-9 | Decimator

The only free field here is the gray receiver. A sticker stands out most clearly on it, while on the magazine and shroud it drowns in the mesh. Cool white and light blue stickers fit the palette.

Who this wear suits

Factory New makes sense for the Tec-9 | Decimator in these cases:

• you want a neon Tec-9 for CS2 with untouched graphics;

• the narrow 0.00 to 0.07 band matters, where listings do not differ;

• you want the most expensive Classified Tec-9 at its best.
