What the Tec-9 | Decimator looks like in Well-Worn

The design is neon, built from pink, purple and light blue. A raspberry shroud with openings sits on the barrel, the slide is dark with a light blue border, and the receiver is gray. The magazine and grip are black, with light blue and pink facets, and pink at the base of the magazine.

In Well-Worn, scuffs show on the edges of the slide and receiver. Between 0.38 and 0.45 the copies look practically the same. Wear is locked in at drop.

Where the Tec-9 | Decimator came from

Valve added the skin to the game on November 19, 2019, at the same time as the Shattered Web operation. Valve's description speaks of light blue and pink accents, and the data lists no author for the finish.

What to check before buying

With the Tec-9 | Decimator, buyers look at the following:

• float: in the narrow 0.38 to 0.45 band there is almost no difference;

• stickers and an applied name that the listing already carries;

• version: StatTrak listings are a separate product.

Every copy of the Tec-9 | Decimator carries the same pattern.

What the Tec-9 | Decimator costs in Well-Worn

Compared with the other wears:

• Field-Tested costs 1.2 times less;

• Battle-Scarred costs 1.3 times less;

• Minimal Wear costs 1.7 times more;

• Factory New costs 4.3 times more.

Among Classified Tec-9s this is the priciest skin of the row. In this wear the Tec-9 | Fuel Injector is cheaper by about a third, and the Tec-9 | Remote Control by more than eight times.

Getting the Tec-9 | Decimator

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Tec-9 | Decimator has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were issued for it.

Stickers and craft on the Tec-9 | Decimator

Stickers look best on this skin when they go on the gray receiver. On the magazine, the lines and facets compete with any mark. Cool white and light blue stickers echo the palette, while warm ones stand out.

Who this wear suits

Well-Worn is a sensible choice for the Tec-9 | Decimator if:

• you want a neon Tec-9 for CS2 with visible wear, at 1.7 times less than Minimal Wear;

• it matters that the float is squeezed between 0.38 and 0.45, so listings do not drift apart;

• you need a Classified Shattered Web skin for the Terrorist side.
