The Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil in Minimal Wear (MW) has a muted gray-olive body with stenciled stripes. The skin is Industrial Grade, from The Sport & Field Collection. The wear band for MW is 0.07 to 0.15, and the skin comes in all five wears.
What the Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil looks like in Minimal Wear
The body base is gray-olive, and over it run brown stripes laid on unevenly. The stripes are warm, in browns and tans. The perforated barrel shroud has a light bronze cast, and the magazine is the same gray and also striped.
The stripes sit on the barrel shroud, across the top of the receiver and on the magazine. Frame, guard and grip are almost clean, with no pattern. The stripes themselves are short, with ragged edges, as if sprayed through a stencil, doubled in places, with no lettering.
Contrast is low, the pattern looks sun-bleached, and on the ridges of the shroud the brown has almost worn off. Wear is fixed at drop: Minimal Wear stays as it arrived.
What to check before buying
Before taking a Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil, look at these points:
- float between 0.07 and 0.15;
- stickers and a name tag that came with the Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil from a previous owner.
The pattern on the Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil is the same on every copy, so there is no right one to hunt for. The band is short, so chasing a number is pointless.
What the Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil costs in Minimal Wear
The wears of this skin cost almost the same:
- Factory New and Battle-Scarred cost the same as MW;
- Field-Tested and Well-Worn cost four percent more.
Among Industrial Grade Tec-9s the skin sits at the bottom of a row of nine: none is cheaper, and beside it are Banana Leaf, Citric Acid, Perimeter and VariCamo. Highest are Orange Murano, Rust Leaf and Hades, and the gap to them is measured in tens of times.
Getting the Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil
The Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil is not found in CS2 cases. Nothing in the collection sits below this rank, so no contract leads to the skin. The Sport & Field Collection came out in October 2024, and the skin has been in the set from launch.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil has no StatTrak version, and no Souvenir Packages either.
Stickers and craft on the Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil
The pattern is pale, so stickers do not compete with it: they read easily on the gray magazine and the clean frame. Bright stickers stand out more than they do on high-contrast skins. The brown stripes support warm gold and beige stickers.
Who this wear suits
The Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil in Minimal Wear is worth buying for these reasons:
- you want a restrained gray-olive Tec-9 for CS2 with a faded pattern;
- price matters, at the level of the bottom row of Industrial Grade;
- you need an even base for bright stickers.
