UMP-45 | Blaze (Factory New)

The UMP-45 | Blaze in Factory New (FN) has tongues of fire on the receiver cover and a float from 0.00 to 0.07. It is a Mil-Spec skin from The Mirage Collection. You can buy the UMP-45 | Blaze for CS2 in only two wears, Factory New and Minimal Wear, because the whole float of the skin is capped at 0.08.

What the UMP-45 | Blaze looks like in Factory New

The fire fills the receiver cover and its side in the front and middle. The flames are yellow-orange and scarlet, with burgundy and black gaps between them. Toward the rear of the receiver everything fades to black. The flames have crisp, sharp outlines with a dark edge, and small glints show on the bright part.

The rear third and the whole underside are clean: the magazine, foregrip, pistol grip and stock frame are gray and olive, with no pattern. Valve describes the technique as transparent paints airbrushed over a chrome base. In Factory New the surface is smooth, and the glints on the chrome show in full.

What to check before buying

On a UMP-45 | Blaze listing, these are the points to check:

• float: this wear of the UMP-45 | Blaze is allotted the stretch from 0.00 to 0.07;

• what the previous owner left on the UMP-45 | Blaze: stickers and a name tag.

The UMP-45 | Blaze in this wear is a short stretch of 0.00 to 0.07. Chasing a number is pointless, because that band takes up almost the whole scale of the skin.

What the UMP-45 | Blaze costs in Factory New

Here the prices of the wears run the other way: Minimal Wear costs about 2.9 times as much as Factory New. The reason is the float band: Factory New gets 0.00 to 0.07, almost the whole scale, while Minimal Wear is left with only 0.07 to 0.08.

Among the sixteen Mil-Spec UMP-45 skins in Factory New, the Blaze is third by price. Only the UMP-45 | Day Lily and the UMP-45 | Minotaur's Labyrinth are higher. Below come the UMP-45 | Metal Flowers, the UMP-45 | Delusion and the rest, and the nearest of them is almost three times cheaper.

The UMP-45 | Blaze has no StatTrak. A Souvenir version exists: Souvenir packages hold it, and you can also make one through the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the UMP-45 | Blaze

The fire fills the front and middle of the cover, while the rear third stays black and clean. Stickers read there without competing with the flames. Yellow and orange stickers get lost on the fire itself, while light blue and white ones stand out.

Who this wear suits

The UMP-45 | Blaze in Factory New makes sense if:

• you want a skin with fire on the receiver and a clean surface from the moment of drop;

• it matters to you that Minimal Wear costs almost three times as much and the skin has nowhere higher to go on the scale;

• you are putting together a selection of skins from The Mirage Collection.
