USP-S | The Traitor (Well-Worn)

In Well-Worn (WW), the USP-S | The Traitor sits in a float band of 0.38 to 0.45, 7% of the finish's scale. It is a Covert skin from the Snakebite Case, and in this wear the gold branches are already rubbed off the raised edges.

What the USP-S | The Traitor looks like in Well-Worn

The pistol is dark red. Gold branches with leaves run along the side of the slide and onto the rear of the suppressor, their color shading toward green. The front half of the suppressor and the barrel are dark gray. The grip is red, with a ribbed orange-red insert. The motif is botanical, with no figures.

The thin gold ornament is the most fragile part of the finish. In Well-Worn it has already left the front edge of the slide, the join with the suppressor and the grip insert. The red planes hold up better, but without the gold the finish loses its main feature.

Where the USP-S | The Traitor came from

The Snakebite Collection was released on May 3, 2021, and the skin has been part of it since launch. Zaphk is the finish's author. The Workshop submission came from Oni, filed as "CS20 | The Hanged Man USP-S". The series was conceived as a tarot deck in which each weapon is its own arcana; AK-47 | The Empress and AWP | Mortis came out before. Valve's catalog number for the finish is 1040.

What to check before buying

On the USP-S | The Traitor, these things bear on the price:

• float: from 0.38 to 0.45, one listing is almost the same as the next;

• how much gold is left on the slide and the suppressor;

• any name tag or stickers, which stay on the listing when it changes hands.

All copies carry the same artwork. This wear is a narrow 0.38 to 0.45, so one copy looks much like another.

What the USP-S | The Traitor costs in Well-Worn

Factory New costs almost three times as much. Minimal Wear is more than one and a half times dearer, and Field-Tested a few percent dearer. Battle-Scarred is a tenth cheaper.

Across the four Covert USP-S skins, Well-Worn of this finish carries the lowest price. Printstream costs a quarter more, Kill Confirmed almost twice as much and Neo-Noir almost four times as much.
