XM1014 | Monster Melt (Factory New)

The XM1014 | Monster Melt in Factory New (FN) has a float band of 0.00 to 0.07 and a cartoon paint job with little monster faces. It is a Restricted skin from The Overpass 2024 Collection. It has no ordinary case, and its price sits in the middle of a row of ten.

What the XM1014 | Monster Melt looks like in Factory New

The paint job is bright and cartoonish. Round faces with big eyes and mouths are scattered over the barrel and receiver, along with drips, little stars and small blots. The background shimmers pink, mint green, lilac, yellow and light blue.

The densest part of the artwork is the side of the receiver and the handguard. The magazine tube and barrel are dark with pink dots, and the stock is a separate iridescent patch with gasoline-like purple-green swirls. Valve says the monsters are drawn on both sides. No lettering can be made out. Wear is fixed at drop, and in Factory New there is almost none.

What to check before buying

When choosing an XM1014 | Monster Melt, look at the following:

• float: the float band of the XM1014 | Monster Melt in this wear is 0.00 to 0.07;

• stickers and an applied name: both transfer with the listing.

The artwork is the same on every copy, so there is no particular one to hunt for. You can buy this wear almost blind, since the 0.00 to 0.07 band is tight. The skin came out in October 2024.

What the XM1014 | Monster Melt costs in Factory New

Factory New is the most expensive wear of the skin:

• Minimal Wear (MW) is cheaper by a factor of 1.5;

• Field-Tested (FT) is almost three times cheaper;

• Well-Worn (WW) is more than two and a half times cheaper;

• Battle-Scarred (BS) is cheaper by more than three times.

Among ten Restricted shotguns the XM1014 | Monster Melt sits in the middle: five are cheaper and four cost more. Closest is the XM1014 | Teclu Burner, which is cheaper by about a third. Further down come the XM1014 | Black Tie, XM1014 | Ziggy, XM1014 | Seasons and XM1014 | Zombie Offensive. Above it are the XM1014 | Solitude, XM1014 | Elegant Vines and XM1014 | Ancient Lore.

Getting the XM1014 | Monster Melt

The skin has no ordinary case. It comes from the Budapest 2025 Overpass Souvenir Package. Ten skins one rank lower from this collection yield one XM1014 | Monster Melt.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The skin has no StatTrak™ version. A Souvenir version exists: it is issued by tournament packages carrying The Overpass 2024 Collection.

Stickers and craft on the XM1014 | Monster Melt

The artwork is busy, and a sticker on the receiver gets lost among the faces. There is more room on the dark barrel and magazine tube, where the pink dots sit and any sticker shows. Bright stickers argue with the paint job, while dark and plain ones read better.

Who this wear suits

The XM1014 | Monster Melt in Factory New earns its price when:

• you want a CS2 shotgun with a bright paint job and no trace of scuffing;

• it matters that the receiver edges are not worn down to dark metal;

• you want the skin as a loud accent in a set of pastel tones.

If price matters, look at Field-Tested: it is almost three times cheaper, and the artwork stays readable.
