★ Bowie Knife | Lore (Field-Tested)

The ★ Bowie Knife | Lore in Field-Tested (FT) has a golden blade with a woven ornament and an olive handle. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. This Bowie comes out of the Operation Riptide Case or the Dreams & Nightmares Case. The float runs from 0.00 to 1.00, and Field-Tested accounts for 0.23 of that scale.

What the ★ Bowie Knife | Lore looks like in Field-Tested

The blade is yellow-gold, lighter toward the point and darker, closer to ocher, at the heel. A cream-white strip of Celtic weave runs down the middle, a design Valve calls knotwork. A saw with black teeth stretches along the spine. The handle is olive green, and the guard and pommel are black. By Valve's description this is a Bowie with a tang the full length of the handle and a saw on the spine, painted with a design of knots.

In this wear the ★ Bowie Knife | Lore spans 0.15 to 0.38, where nearly clean bodies and visibly worn ones both turn up. Wear lands first on the point and the edge of the blade. It is set at the drop, and the blade stays as it fell.

Where the ★ Bowie Knife | Lore came from

The finish arrived in the Operation Riptide Case: Valve opened the operation on September 22, 2021. The second case, Dreams & Nightmares, came out on January 21, 2022, and the knives from Riptide sit in it as rare special items.

What to check before buying

Before buying the ★ Bowie Knife | Lore, go through these points:

• Float: the closer to 0.15, the cleaner the blade, so it pays to compare several lots across the band.

• Design: a lucky pattern cannot be hunted on this knife, because it is always one.

• Name tag: possible, while this knife has no stickers.

• Version: a lot with StatTrak is listed as a separate product.

What the ★ Bowie Knife | Lore costs in Field-Tested

Of the eighteen Bowie finishes with a price in this wear, the Lore is fifth from the top. Four cost more: Slaughter, Case Hardened, Crimson Web and Blue Steel. Autotronic is cheaper by one percent, Stained by three, Damascus Steel by a little over eight, and Night by almost a quarter. The most affordable in the model is Black Laminate.

Relative to Field-Tested, the wears compare like this:

• Factory New costs twice as much.

• Minimal Wear costs a third more.

• Well-Worn costs the same.

• Battle-Scarred is a seventh cheaper.

Getting the ★ Bowie Knife | Lore

The Lore drops from the Operation Riptide Case and the Dreams & Nightmares Case, with random wear at the drop. A contract offers a second way: five Covert skins turn into one rare special item, and a knife with this finish cannot be picked there. A specific wear is bought as a ready-made lot.

Is there a StatTrak version

A StatTrak version of the Bowie Knife | Lore exists in the game.
