★ Huntsman Knife | Lore (Field-Tested)

The ★ Huntsman Knife | Lore in Field-Tested (FT) is a CS2 huntsman with a golden-yellow blade, a knotwork ornament and a dark green handle. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. It can drop from the Operation Riptide Case or the Dreams & Nightmares Case. The finish's float scale runs from 0.00 to 0.65, which gives it five wears.

What the ★ Huntsman Knife | Lore looks like in Field-Tested

The blade is golden-yellow and darkens to copper-orange toward the handle. A narrow ribbon of interlaced knots lies along the spine, and Valve writes that the knife is painted with knot patterns. The point is cut at an angle, tanto style, and the spine carries serrations. The handle is dark green and ribbed, with light green rivets, while the guard and butt cap are copper.

This wear of the Huntsman Knife | Lore lies between 0.15 and 0.38. Signs of wear show on the point and the serrations. The wear is set at the drop and does not grow later: a float of 0.38 stays with the knife.

Where the ★ Huntsman Knife | Lore came from

The finish is tied to Operation Riptide, which Valve launched on September 22, 2021, and the knife drops from that case. The knife was added later to the Dreams & Nightmares Case, released on January 21, 2022.

What to check before buying

What matters when you buy the Huntsman Knife | Lore:

• Pattern: no lucky pattern can be hunted on this knife, since it is always the same.

• Float: search by the number rather than the wear label, because the 0.15 to 0.38 band is wide.

• Name tag: one can be applied to the knife, and it stays after purchase.

• Version: a StatTrak knife is listed in the catalog as a separate product.

What the ★ Huntsman Knife | Lore costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs 1.5 times as much, and Minimal Wear a little over a quarter more. Well-Worn costs the same, while Battle-Scarred is a few percent cheaper.

Among Covert huntsman finishes the Lore is in the upper half of the row: six cost more and eleven cost less. Autotronic and Stained are one to two percent higher, Crimson Web a little over a quarter, Blue Steel 1.3 times, Case Hardened 1.8 times, and Slaughter twice as much. Night and Damascus Steel are an eighth lower, Freehand a third. The bottom of the row is Safari Mesh, Bright Water and Boreal Forest, two fifths cheaper.

Getting the ★ Huntsman Knife | Lore

The Huntsman Knife | Lore falls from the Operation Riptide Case and the Dreams & Nightmares Case, and the wear is decided at the drop. A contract also leads to a rare special item: five Covert skins from any sets yield a random knife whose finish cannot be picked. The float you want is found among ready-made lots.

Is there a StatTrak version

A StatTrak version of the Huntsman Knife | Lore exists in the game.
