The blade is tanto-style: a straight spine, a slanted tip and a serrated stretch on the lower edge by the guard. The fill is a saturated red, with the web running over it as a thin dark mesh. Valve's description says the pattern is hydro-printed over a red base and sealed with a semi-gloss lacquer. The handle is black, rubberized and dotted in texture, and the butt with its hole is red.

In Field-Tested the red lacquer by the edge and on the toe of the blade is already rubbed, and metal shows through. The condition of the blade was fixed when the knife dropped.
