The Door Underneath the Finish

Bombshell Double Armored Door is a finish for the armoured double door in Rust whose pattern glows in the dark. The toughest door type in the game gets a look that reads across an unlit corridor without anybody switching a torch on.

What Exactly Glows

The Armored Double Door is the top of the Rust door range. It goes on the main entrance and on the approach to the loot room, which is to say the places where a base is tested first.

The double-width version fills a wide frame and usually ends up as the face of the whole build: it is what somebody walking up from outside actually looks at.

None of that is affected by the finish. The explosives needed to open it, the repair cost and the way the halves swing are all unchanged, as they are for every building skin in the game.

How the Glow Behaves in Game

Glow in the dark is the defining feature here. The base of the door is dark, close to black, and glowing elements read far more sharply against that than they would across a busy texture.

By day the door looks restrained and industrial. The whole effect unfolds at night and inside enclosed rooms, where there is almost no light to compete with it.

Third-party catalogues describe the artwork with slightly different details, so the honest way to know what you are buying is to open the image inside the offer on this page.

The Bombshell treatment is not confined to the armoured tier either. A comparable glowing version exists for the sheet metal double door, which means more than just the front entrance can be dressed to match.

Who It Suits

Its usefulness cuts both ways and that is worth saying up front. Inside the base, glowing halves act as a landmark — moving through the corridors of a sprawling build is easier when the doorways look different from one another.

From outside the logic reverses. A glowing door draws attention, and attention paid to a base in Rust is rarely harmless.

Then again, an expensive-looking door is also a bluff. A raider sees an armoured entrance with unusual decoration and recounts his explosives, and that hesitation is occasionally worth more than another wall.

The door stays a structure on the server while the finish stays a line in your Steam inventory. The base comes down, the wipe clears the map, and the next set of halves gets the same treatment.

What the Door Costs

People who build large and care how the inside looks. Over a wipe you will look at your own doorways hundreds of times.

People putting together a dark industrial style, since a black base with glowing detail agrees with metal and techno ranges far better than with festive ones.

People who play late. Rust nights run long, and the night is where this finish shows everything it was bought for.

Anyone whose plan is a quiet base hidden in the trees should pass. A glowing entrance does the exact opposite of what you are trying to achieve.

Where to Buy Bombshell Double Armored Door

The price holds in the lower segment: two or three dollars, normally short of $5. Today's amount is in the card above.

For building skins that is the usual level. Structures are seen less often than weapons and clothing, and the market values them accordingly.

On LIS-SKINS the finish comes out cheaper than on the Steam Market, as no Valve commission is part of the figure.

The order is placed right here: sign in through Steam, choose an offer and pay by card, cryptocurrency or electronic wallet.

The finish reaches your Steam inventory and goes onto the door in game, either when the halves are crafted or later at a repair bench.

Selling it back is handled by the same marketplace, with money withdrawn to a card or a wallet.

The rest of the Rust door finishes are gathered next to it, including versions for single and garage doors.
