A Paint Job for the Furnace

Pixel Furnace is a Rust skin for the Furnace, drawn in the style of old video-game graphics: instead of a rusted barrel full of fire you get a deliberately toy-like object built out of chunky square pixels. It costs very little and changes the look of the hardest-working deployable in the base.

Retro Graphics In the Middle of a Survival Game

The furnace goes down before the tool cupboard in most bases and almost never comes back up. Without it there is no metal, no fragments and no real progress.

The skin is applied either at the moment you craft the furnace or later at a repair bench. The second route is the handier one, because reskinning can be done as often as you like and costs nothing each time.

Smelting itself is untouched. Speed, wood consumption and capacity are exactly what they were on the default model.

The paint belongs to your Steam account rather than to one structure. A raid flattens the base and the furnace with it, you craft a replacement, and the skin goes straight back on.

Who Ever Sees a Furnace

The whole idea rests on contrast. Rust trades in grimy realism — rust stains, concrete, photoreal textures — and then there is a sixteen-bit object sitting in the corner of your smelting room.

Large pixels and a restricted palette make the reference instant. Anyone who walks past understands what the design is quoting without being told.

It works best alongside similarly unserious furniture, in a base decorated as a joke rather than as a bunker.

For the exact pattern on each face, open the preview inside the offer. Written descriptions online disagree on the details, while the image shows precisely what arrives.

Applying the Skin

It is a fair question — the furnace lives indoors and passers-by never lay eyes on it. But passers-by are not the audience.

Half of anyone's wipe is spent in the smelting room: load ore, wait, empty it, repeat. After the storage boxes it is the most visited corner of any base.

Clanmates see the interior constantly, and the interior is what tells them whether anyone here bothers with decoration or everyone just lives in a grey box.

Then there are raiders. If the walls do come down, a decorated room is the last thing they will remember about your base. A small thing, but small things build reputations in this game.

Price and Where It Sits

If the furnace has not been built yet, choose the paint in the crafting window and the object appears already wearing it.

If one is already standing, carry it to a repair bench and swap the appearance there. No resources are consumed in the process.

Nothing ties the skin to a single copy either. It can go on every new furnace you build, including on several servers at the same time.

One detail worth knowing if you are new to this: the paint is pulled into the game automatically after purchase, with no codes to redeem and no activation step.

Where to Buy Pixel Furnace

Building cosmetics occupy the cheapest corner of the Rust market and rarely climb past a couple of dollars.

Pixel Furnace sits right there — under most weapon paints and roughly level with ordinary skins for boxes and doors.

That low barrier makes items like this a sensible starting point. People buy them to try decorating a base without committing real money to the idea.

The current figure is shown in the card at the top of the page and moves with the market.

The furnace paint is sold here on LIS-SKINS — authorise through Steam and take whichever offer suits you.

Payment goes through by card, cryptocurrency or electronic wallet, and the item arrives in your Steam inventory.

Selling works in reverse from the same place: put the paint up on the marketplace and withdraw what it fetches to a card.

Skins for storage boxes, doors and sleeping bags sit in neighbouring sections of the Rust catalogue — if you are decorating, decorate the whole room.
