The ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2 in Factory New (FN) is a bayonet for CS2 with a pink-violet blade of marbled structure. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. The knife drops from the Chroma Case and the Chroma 2 and Chroma 3 Cases. The float scale of the finish ends at 0.08, which leaves two wears. In Factory New the ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2 is assigned floats 0.00 to 0.07.
What the ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2 looks like in Factory New
The blade is flooded with crimson and pink, and violet and dark blue clouds of marbled structure drift across it. A fuller runs along the flat, and a round hole is cut near the point. The guard stays bright metal, and the handle is pale olive, with crosswise ring ribs and a steel pommel. Valve says the blade is covered in black and silver metallic paint over a marbled base and sealed under a clear colored lacquer.
On a bayonet in Factory New the lacquer is intact from guard to point. Wear is built in at drop and does not grow afterward. The band here is short, 0.00 to 0.07, so there is no reason to chase the number.
Where the ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2 came from
There is no Steam Workshop submission behind Doppler: Valve drew the finish. It reached the Bayonet in January 2015, together with the Chroma Case. The Bayonet is also in the Chroma 2 and Chroma 3 Cases.
Phase and pattern
The item name already contains the phase: Doppler has seven of them on the Bayonet, and Phase 2 is sold as its own item. Phases 1 to 4 are regular, while Ruby, Sapphire and Black Pearl are gems, the rare variants of the finish. The color of Phase 2 is checked against the picture in the listing.
Among the Bayonet’s gems, Sapphire is the most accessible, Ruby costs more, and Black Pearl costs the most. Emerald does not exist in Doppler: it belongs to Gamma Doppler.
What to check before buying
When choosing a listing for the ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2, these points count:
- the phase in the listing title: Phase 2 and the gems are separate items, and their prices differ severalfold;
- the name tag: a name tag on a Bayonet is allowed and stays on the item after purchase;
- the version: a StatTrak Bayonet is a separate listing.
What the ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2 costs in Factory New
Minimal Wear (MW) costs more than the top wear. Among the regular phases, Phase 2 is the most expensive: Phase 1 is a quarter cheaper, Phase 3 a sixth, Phase 4 a seventh. The gems go further. Sapphire costs more than twice as much as Phase 2, Ruby three and a half times, and Black Pearl six and a half times.
Of the 31 Bayonet finishes in Factory New, Phase 2 sits a little above the middle: nineteen cost less, and eleven cost more. Gamma Doppler Phase 3 is four percent higher, Ultraviolet two percent lower, and Lore five percent lower. The most expensive Bayonet finishes are Doppler Ruby, Crimson Web and Doppler Black Pearl. The bottom is held by Damascus Steel, Bright Water and Freehand, which cost about two and a half times less than Phase 2.
Getting the ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2
The ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2 drops from the three Chroma cases along with the other phases, and chance decides which one you get. The second route is a contract: five Covert skins from one collection are exchanged for one rare special item, but neither the knife nor the phase can be assigned. A specific Bayonet phase is bought as a finished listing.
Is there a StatTrak version
A StatTrak version of the ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2 exists in the game.
Who this wear suits
Buying the ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2 in Factory New makes sense when:
- you want a pink-violet phase without paying extra for a gem, which costs several times more;
- your CS2 loadout is built in pink and violet tones, with the pale guard and olive handle staying neutral;
- intact lacquer on the edge matters: in this wear the blade shows no signs of wear.
