The ★ Bayonet | Urban Masked in Field-Tested (FT) is a light camouflage on the CS2 Bayonet. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. This wear lies between 0.15 and 0.38 on the scale, while the finish itself runs from 0.06 to 0.80 and appears in all five wears. The FT band takes about a third of the finish's scale.
What the ★ Bayonet | Urban Masked looks like in Field-Tested
The blade, the crossguard and the handle carry a single camouflage: light gray and white patches with the occasional bluish transition. There are no eye-catching colors, and the knife reads as nearly white. By Valve's description, the paint was sprayed from a can through a stencil of tangled masking tape.
The metal is darker than the pale paint, so scuffs on the edge and on the facets of the handle are visible at once. Wear is recorded at the drop and does not change later. The pattern is applied identically to every copy, which leaves float as the only difference between them.
What to check before buying
Before you pay, it helps to check:
- float: the 0.15 to 0.38 band leaves a choice, and copies closer to 0.15 are cleaner;
- the applied name: a Bayonet can take a name tag, and it stays on the item after the sale.
What the ★ Bayonet | Urban Masked costs in Field-Tested
Set against the other wears of this finish:
- Minimal Wear costs about a quarter more;
- Well-Worn costs a few percent more;
- Battle-Scarred is priced level;
- Factory New is noticeably dearer than all the rest.
Among Covert Bayonet finishes at Field-Tested, only four are cheaper: Boreal Forest, Forest DDPAT, Scorched and Safari Mesh. Night is level with it. The most expensive are Case Hardened, Autotronic and Slaughter.
