The ★ Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged in Field-Tested (FT) are fingerless CS2 gloves with a light scale pattern and metal spikes. Extraordinary rank, with the star ★. They sit in three cases: Operation Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil. The finish is available in five wears, and its float starts at 0.06 and ends at 0.80. In this wear the ★ Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged lie between 0.15 and 0.38.

What the ★ Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged look like in Field-Tested

A light, scaly mesh in a gray-green shade covers the back of the hand and the fingers, and black and dark gray leather lies over it. A metal plate with an embossed emblem covers the knuckles, pyramid-shaped spikes run along the edge, and the cuff has a metal snap. Valve states that the gloves are decorated with metal spikes and the logo of Operation Broken Fang.

Wear shows in the mesh on the fingers and in the leather at the folds. The state of the pair is set at drop and stays the same afterward. In this wear the ★ Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged are the 0.15 to 0.38 band, and listings from the two edges of that segment look different.

Where the ★ Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged came from

The set is named for Operation Broken Fang, which Valve launched on December 3, 2020. The same gloves later joined the Snakebite Case as rare special items, and on July 4, 2022 they joined the Recoil Case.

What to check before buying

Before buying the ★ Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged, check the following:

• float: inside 0.15 to 0.38 the listings differ in condition, so compare the number with the picture;

• the mesh on the fingers and the leather at the folds: scuffing there tells you the state of the pair.

What the ★ Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged cost in Field-Tested

Factory New costs several times more, and that wear occupies a narrow segment of the scale, 0.06 to 0.07. Minimal Wear (MW) costs one and a half times as much, Well-Worn is level with Field-Tested, and Battle-Scarred is a tenth cheaper.

Among the four Broken Fang finishes, Unhinged is second by price. Jade is a third higher, Yellow-banded an eighth lower, and Needle Point a seventh.

Getting the ★ Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged

Three cases give out this pair: Operation Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil, and the condition of the gloves in them is random. The second route is a contract. Five Covert skins from one collection combine into one rare special item, though the model and finish of the result cannot be chosen. Anyone after one particular pair buys it as a ready lot.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged in Field-Tested is a sensible move in these cases:

• you want fingerless gloves in gray and black tones, and Factory New costs several times more;

• the pair stays in frame every CS2 round, and the neutral gray-black color does not argue with the weapon finish;

• you want to compare listings by the state of the leather: inside 0.15 to 0.38 the ones near the lower bound are noticeably fresher.
