Red on the upper blade, light along the edge: that is the ★ Karambit | Autotronic, a karambit for CS2. Well-Worn (WW) is a short band for this skin, 0.07 out of 0.85, or 8% of the scale. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. The knife drops from the Gamma Case and the Gamma 2 Case, and the float band in this wear runs from 0.38 to 0.45.
What the ★ Karambit | Autotronic looks like in Well-Worn
The red sits on the upper half of the blade, and the edge is light steel. The dark gray handle has grooves for the fingers and is decorated with mesh ovals, and the ring is metal. Valve's text speaks of red anodizing and a steel mesh for lightening.
In Well-Worn the scuffs on the red anodizing are already visible along the whole blade, and the steel edge shows signs of wear. The color still reads, though: red stays red. The wear value is fixed at drop and stays as it is.
What to check before buying
Listings of this karambit differ in the following:
- float: in this wear it is a short band of 0.38 to 0.45, so there is no point chasing the number;
- artwork: it is one and the same on all copies, and there are no rare ones;
- name tag: allowed on the knife, and there are no stickers;
- wear in the listing: Battle-Scarred is a separate listing.
What the ★ Karambit | Autotronic costs in Well-Worn
Factory New costs 1.88 times as much as Well-Worn, and Minimal Wear costs 1.28 times as much. Field-Tested is level with this wear, and Battle-Scarred is 1.15 times cheaper.
Among the eighteen Karambit finishes in Well-Worn, Autotronic is the priciest: none is above it. Closest below is Case Hardened, then Blue Steel, Crimson Web, Damascus Steel and Black Laminate. Safari Mesh, Boreal Forest and Forest DDPAT close out the row at the bottom.
Getting the ★ Karambit | Autotronic
This karambit finish comes from the Gamma Case and the Gamma 2 Case. In a trade-up, five Covert skins of one type give a random item with the ★ mark, and the game decides model and finish. For Autotronic specifically in Well-Worn, a ready-made listing is simpler.
Is there a StatTrak version
StatTrak is available: the Karambit | Autotronic exists as a kill-counter version in the game. Knives have no Souvenir version.
Who this wear suits
Buy the ★ Karambit | Autotronic here if:
- you want a red karambit with visible wear: there is more of it than in Minimal Wear, and the red survives;
- you do not need a race for the float number, since the short band makes copies indistinguishable;
- your CS2 loadout calls for a finish from the upper part of the Karambit row, at a price below the top wears.
