Description

Factory New (FN) on the ★ M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web is the condition where the red lacquer is nowhere broken. The rank is Covert, ★ mark. The finish reached the model with the earliest CS:GO weapon cases, and its scale opens at 0.06. By price it is the M9's fourth dearest Covert finish.

What the ★ M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web looks like in Factory New

Red lacquer covers the whole face of the blade, the saw on the spine included, and the guard and ring with it. The plain bayonet keeps a steel guard, the first thing separating the models in a preview. The web falls as a fine, close net, denser toward the spine, its threads thinner than a karambit's. Red frames the round hole, and the saw teeth are painted unevenly. The handle is gray and unlacquered, painted in imitation of a wrap.

Float sits between 0.06 and 0.07. Nothing has gone pale on the edge or the saw teeth, though both break first, the guard lip next. On worn copies the web vanishes near the edge; in Factory New the net is whole.

Phase and pattern

Each ★ M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web arrives with its own pattern. The index sets where the net sits and how many centers feed it — the points the threads spread from. One or two is usual, three or more uncommon and valued higher.

The finish has no phases, and the title says nothing about the pattern: centers are counted off the listing photo. On this model the guard and ring carry red as well. The net covers the face more finely than the karambit's in CS2, so centers are harder to pick out — view them on a large image.

What to check before buying

What moves from listing to listing:

  • the float, which never climbs past 0.07 here, leaving such copies alike;

  • the applied name, which outlasts a resale and shows in the listing;

  • the version, since a StatTrak variant carries its own price;

  • the model in the title: only the M9 has a painted guard, easily mistaken on a small photo.

What the ★ M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web costs in Factory New

The scale grants this condition only 0.06 to 0.07. The step down is large: Minimal Wear (MW) comes in six times cheaper. Lower down the spread all but disappears, with Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred all near a twelfth of Factory New.

Only M9 Bayonet | Doppler Ruby, M9 Bayonet | Doppler Black Pearl and M9 Bayonet | Gamma Doppler Emerald ask more, with Black Pearl at three times the web. Doppler Sapphire holds almost level, and M9 Bayonet | Ultraviolet is about three times cheaper. The model's cheapest Covert finishes trail by some thirteen times.

Getting the ★ M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web

Two sources exist. The CS:GO Weapon Case gives the knife as a rare ★ item in any condition, and the same finish turns up in other cases from CS:GO's early years.

The contract is the second: five Covert skins of one collection return a random rare special item, with model, finish and float out of the buyer's hands. A wanted condition comes as a finished listing.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The ★ M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web has a StatTrak version; a Souvenir edition was never issued.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web here is sound when:

  • the net has to be whole, since thin threads near the edge go first on worn copies;

  • the loadout is red and black: on the M9 blade, guard and ring are all painted;

  • saw teeth without pale marks matter, as the paint on them reports wear at once.
