★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel (Field-Tested)

★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel in Field-Tested (FT) is a CS2 knife with a light blade crossed by Damascus steel swirls. It is a Covert knife with the ★ mark, and it comes from the Fever Case. The finish is sold in five wears, with a float ceiling of 0.50. The Field-Tested scale of the ★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel lies between 0.15 and 0.38, almost half of the scale of the finish.

What the ★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel looks like in Field-Tested

The blade of the Nomad is wide, with a sharp point. Wavy gray-blue swirls spread across the light metal and look like water marks. By Valve's account, Damascus steel is used on only some of the parts. The rest is an ordinary handle: gray metal scales with round holes and a black insert at the butt with a fine mesh texture.

In Field-Tested the signs of wear are already there, settling on the point and the cutting edge of the light blade. A copy stays as it dropped: the wear does not change with time or in storage.

Where the ★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel came from

The Nomad Knife appeared on November 19, 2019, with Operation Shattered Web, when Valve added four knives: the Paracord, the Survival, the Nomad and the Skeleton. The Damascus Steel finish reached it later, with the Fever Case. In a note of March 31, 2025, Valve describes that case as 17 community finishes plus Shattered Web knives in Chroma finishes.

What to check before buying

When choosing a ★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel lot, this is what matters:

• float: in this wear both 0.15 and 0.38 fit, and such lots look different;

• name tag: the Nomad accepts one, while the knife has no stickers;

• StatTrak: a knife with a counter is listed in the catalog as a separate item.

What the ★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs 1.19 times as much, Minimal Wear 1.08 times. Well-Worn costs 1.27 times as much, while Battle-Scarred stands level with Field-Tested. The bands of the two lowest wears are short, because the float ceiling of the finish is 0.50.

Among the Covert finishes of the Nomad in Field-Tested, Damascus Steel is closer to the top of the row: four finishes cost more and eight cost less. Above it stand Crimson Web, Blue Steel, Case Hardened and Slaughter, and the nearest below is Stained. The bottom of the row is Safari Mesh, Forest DDPAT and Boreal Forest.

Getting the ★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel

The ★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel drops from the Fever Case, and the wear comes at random. The knife can also be put together by contract, but there you do not choose the result. Five Covert skins from one collection produce a rare special item whose model and finish are random. That is why the Nomad you want is bought as a lot.

Is there a StatTrak version

A StatTrak version of the ★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel exists in the game.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel specifically in Field-Tested is sensible when:

• you want a light Nomad with a watery steel pattern, and Factory New costs 1.19 times as much;

• you choose the copy by its float number, since the band from 0.15 to 0.38 covers almost half the scale of the finish;

• your CS2 loadout is built on cool gray and blue tones, and the dark insert in the handle gives the knife some contrast.
