The ★ Paracord Knife | Doppler Phase 4 in Factory New (FN) is the blue Doppler phase on the Paracord Knife in CS2. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. Its source is the Fever Case. The finish stops at 0.08 on the float scale, which gives it two wears: Factory New and Minimal Wear (MW), the latter taking the scale to the end.
What the ★ Paracord Knife | Doppler Phase 4 looks like in Factory New
Blue with a violet tint covers the blade. It is dark, almost inky, near the tip and the spine, then lightens and brightens toward the handle, while smoky swirls spread over the flat. The lengthwise slot in the blade stays within the same blue range. Gray paracord wraps the handle from guard to butt, and no paint reaches it. Valve describes the handle as a wrap of multipurpose cord.
Here the ★ Paracord Knife | Doppler Phase 4 is given a float of 0.00 to 0.07. Lacquer covers the entire blade, and the tip is where wear starts. Wear is locked in when the knife drops and never increases.
Where the ★ Paracord Knife | Doppler Phase 4 came from
The Paracord Knife with Doppler arrived together with the Fever Case, in the Counter-Strike 2 update of March 31, 2025. In the release notes Valve named only the case itself.
Phase and pattern
The phase is written straight into the item name. A buyer chooses Phase 4 from the listing and never has to pull it from a case. In Valve's data the Paracord Knife has Phases 1 to 4, Ruby, Sapphire and Black Pearl. The first four are regular. Ruby, Sapphire and Black Pearl are gems, rare variants of the finish, and each is listed separately. Doppler has no Emerald: that gem exists only for Gamma Doppler.
Within one phase the copies still differ, because the pattern index moves the colors and their position on the blade.
What to check before buying
A few points are worth checking on the ★ Paracord Knife | Doppler Phase 4 before you buy:
- the phase named in the lot: Phase 4 and Sapphire are both blue, but their prices differ by almost a factor of two; gems and regular phases sit on separate pages;
- a name tag: a name can be applied to the Paracord Knife, while knives have no sticker slots;
- float: the 0.00 to 0.07 band is tight, and the outermost listings differ only by the number.
What the ★ Paracord Knife | Doppler Phase 4 costs in Factory New
Minimal Wear is 1.39 times dearer than Factory New, which makes the top wear the clearly cheaper of the pair.
Phase 4 lies in the middle of the regular Paracord Knife phases. Phase 1 is 11 percent cheaper, Phase 3 is 3 percent cheaper, and Phase 2 is 2 percent dearer. The gems move ahead: Sapphire costs 1.9 times as much, Ruby 2.4 times, Black Pearl 3.7 times.
Among all Paracord Knife finishes in this wear, Phase 4 sits in the upper third of the row: of 22 finishes, 14 are cheaper and seven are dearer. Case Hardened is 13 percent higher, Night Stripe ten percent lower. The cheapest are Damascus Steel, Forest DDPAT and Tiger Tooth, and the highest is Crimson Web.
Getting the ★ Paracord Knife | Doppler Phase 4
The Paracord Knife drops from the Fever Case, and the phase is random, so you cannot order Phase 4 when opening it. There is also a trade-up. Five Covert skins of one collection produce one ★ item, and neither the model nor the phase can be chosen in it. A specific phase is bought as a ready listing.
Is there a StatTrak version
The StatTrak™ version of the ★ Paracord Knife | Doppler Phase 4 exists in the game.
Who this wear suits
If you are buying the ★ Paracord Knife | Doppler Phase 4 in Factory New, it is reasonable when:
- you want a blue Paracord Knife, and Sapphire, Ruby and Black Pearl are out of reach;
- your CS2 loadout leans on blue tones, and the gray cord handle stays neutral;
- you do not need Minimal Wear: it costs 1.39 times as much, and on a scale ending at 0.08 the difference between the wears is minimal to the eye.
