★ Paracord Knife | Slaughter (Field-Tested)

★ Paracord Knife | Slaughter in Field-Tested (FT) is a CS2 paracord knife with a red blade in dark zebra stripes and a handle wrapped in cord. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. You open it from the Shattered Web Case or the Fracture Case. The float scale of the finish runs from 0.01 to 0.26 and is cut off at the top, so there are three wears. This wear of the ★ Paracord Knife | Slaughter is given 0.15 to 0.26.

What the ★ Paracord Knife | Slaughter looks like in Field-Tested

The tanto-shaped blade is covered in coral-toned red lacquer. Dark red diagonal stripes cross it with angular breaks, and elongated slots are cut into the upper part. The handle is tightly wrapped in gray-beige cord, and the butt and tang are red. Valve describes the finish as a zebra pattern of aluminum and chrome paint under a tomato-red lacquer.

A spread of 0.15 to 0.26 is so small that choosing by float is pointless. Wear is recorded in the item at the drop and does not grow later.

Where the ★ Paracord Knife | Slaughter came from

A Valve post from November 19, 2019 presents four new knives of the Shattered Web Case, and one of them is the knife with the paracord handle. Slaughter is in that case and in the Fracture Case.

What to check before buying

Before buying the ★ Paracord Knife | Slaughter, check a few points:

• the listing title: the finish has three wears, and Field-Tested is the last of them, since the scale stops at 0.26;

• a name tag: it goes on the paracord knife, and the inscription stays after the purchase;

• float: the band is short, and the listings inside it barely differ.

What the ★ Paracord Knife | Slaughter costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs 1.20 times as much as Field-Tested, while Minimal Wear is 1.05 times cheaper than this wear.

Of the thirteen paracord knife finishes in this wear, Slaughter is the priciest: the other twelve are cheaper. Case Hardened is 28 percent lower, Crimson Web 35, Blue Steel 45 and Ultraviolet 55. The cheapest are Forest DDPAT, Safari Mesh and Scorched.

Getting the ★ Paracord Knife | Slaughter

The ★ Paracord Knife | Slaughter drops from the Shattered Web Case and the Fracture Case, and the wear arrives at random.
