★ Shadow Daggers

The ★ Shadow Daggers without a skin are a pair of push daggers in CS2 in their factory state, and the listing marks them as not painted. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. They have no wear, float or pattern, and every copy is identical.

What the ★ Shadow Daggers look like

Two black double-edged blades with a broad base, tapering to the point. The steel is matte and dark, with a thin pale edge running along the sides.

The handles are transverse crossbars with large finger cutouts, and each has a small pale plate at the center. The daggers are made entirely of dark metal, and only the edge and that plate are lighter.

How the plain ★ Shadow Daggers differs from a skinned one

With skinned Shadow Daggers, a buyer looks at wear and float. Unpainted listings are simpler:

• there is no wear, so there is no float either;


• there is no pattern: the matte black steel is the same on every copy;


• a name tag can be applied, and the name stays after a sale;


• there are no stickers on them.

What remains is a choice between the normal pair and the pair with a counter.

What the plain ★ Shadow Daggers costs

Among Shadow Daggers skins, the unpainted pair sits almost in the middle of the line by its starting "from" price: eighteen skins cost less and sixteen cost more. The nearest below are Tiger Tooth (almost level), Crimson Web (by a few percent) and Blue Steel (by a sixth).

Above come Case Hardened (higher by a fifth), Marble Fade (by a quarter) and Slaughter (by a third and more). The top of the line is Doppler. The Sapphire costs more than three times as much as the unpainted daggers, the Ruby almost six times, and the Black Pearl more than nine.

Is there a StatTrak version

Yes. The StatTrak™ Shadow Daggers are a separate listing, and the counter stays with the daggers. The version with a counter costs more than twice as much as the normal one.

Getting the ★ Shadow Daggers

Shadow Daggers drop as a rare special item from the Shadow Case. The unpainted ones sit in the same rare special item pool as the skins, so they come up at random. When you open a case, you cannot choose between them and a skin.

A trade-up contract is the other road: five Covert skins from one collection become a rare special item whose model the game decides. A ready-made pair without a skin can also be bought on LIS-SKINS.
