★ Specialist Gloves | Blackbook (Field-Tested)

The ★ Specialist Gloves | Blackbook in Field-Tested (FT) are CS2 gloves with a white back of the hand covered in black drawings, like a page from a notebook. They carry Extraordinary rank, with the star ★, and come out of the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. All five wears exist for the pair, and the finish's float lies between 0.06 and 0.80. This wear is given the 0.15 to 0.38 band.

What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Blackbook look like in Field-Tested

The back of the hand is pale, almost white, and covered in black sketches: circles, a star, a scale with tick marks, lettering. The word TORTUE can be read on the strip across the knuckles. The palm and fingers are dark gray-brown leather with white stitching. Valve describes these gloves as durable, breathable and stylish, made to take a hit.

Scratches are not how this pair wears. It is scuffing of the fabric and leather, heaviest at the finger creases. In Field-Tested it is already there, and a copy stays as it dropped.

Where the ★ Specialist Gloves | Blackbook came from

The gloves arrived with the Dead Hand terminal, which Valve released on March 11, 2026. The update note speaks of 17 community finishes in the collection and 22 new pairs of gloves, which became the terminal's rare special items.

What to check before buying

In a ★ Specialist Gloves | Blackbook lot, check these parameters:

• Shop by the number, not by the wear label: the 0.15 to 0.38 band is wide.

• The finger creases and the white back of the hand: scuffing of fabric and leather shows better on a light ground than on a dark one.

What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Blackbook cost in Field-Tested

Minimal Wear costs 2.08 times as much, Well-Worn is 1.06 times cheaper, and Battle-Scarred is 1.34 times cheaper.

Among Extraordinary Specialist Gloves in Field-Tested, Blackbook sits in the upper half of a row of nineteen: six pairs cost more and twelve cost less. The nearest above is Forest DDPAT, and Fade stands below. Foundation, Emerald Web and Crimson Kimono hold the top of the row, while Buckshot, Mogul and Lt. Commander hold the bottom.

Getting the ★ Specialist Gloves | Blackbook

The Blackbook comes out of the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal, and the wear is decided at the drop. A contract is possible too: five Covert skins from one collection combine into a rare special item, but its model and finish are random. The pair you want is bought as a lot.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Specialist Gloves | Blackbook in Field-Tested makes sense in three cases:

• You want black sketches on white, and Minimal Wear costs 2.08 times as much.

• You want the pair in plain view on your own hands every round, rather than flashing past on inspect the way a blade does.

• Your CS2 loadout is built on black and white, and the dark palm does not fight the pale back of the hand.
