Description

The ★ Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike in Field-Tested (FT) are cloth gloves for CS2 with a rust-orange back and dark stripes, like tiger hide. They are Extraordinary rank, with the star, and can be pulled from the Operation Broken Fang Case, the Snakebite Case and the Recoil Case. The finish exists in all five wears, with a float running from 0.06 to 0.80. The Field-Tested band of this pair lies between 0.15 and 0.38.

What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike look like in Field-Tested

The back is rust orange, crossed by dark brown strokes that read as tiger stripes. The knuckle pads are black with orange bridges. Fingertips and palm inserts are cream and everything else is black, while a light edging and the printed word TORTUE run along the rim of the back.

Wear shows up as scuffed fabric and leather on the knuckles and creases. On the ★ Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike the float number counts for more than the label, because the stretch from 0.15 to 0.38 holds pairs that look different. Wear is fixed at the drop and never changes.

Where the ★ Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike came from

The gloves are tied to Operation Broken Fang, which launched on December 3, 2020. The glove set from that operation was later placed as a special item in the Snakebite Case (May 4, 2021) and the Recoil Case (July 4, 2022).

What to check before buying

In a ★ Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike listing, these are the points to look at:

  • float: the closer to 0.15, the more intact the fabric on the knuckles and fingers;

  • both sides: the orange back and the light palm with its fingertips are different surfaces, and each deserves its own look;

  • wear in the name: Factory New costs 7.72 times as much, and Minimal Wear 2.04 times.

What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike cost in Field-Tested

Across the wears the ladder runs like this: Factory New is 7.72 times pricier and Minimal Wear 2.04 times pricier. Well-Worn is cheaper by a factor of 1.16, and Battle-Scarred by a factor of 1.61.

In this wear, Tiger Strike prices above seven of the nineteen Specialist Gloves finishes and below eleven. Its nearest neighbor above is Fade, about a seventh more expensive; below it come Marble Fade, Crimson Web and Field Agent. Foundation, Emerald Web and Crimson Kimono hold the top of the range.

Getting the ★ Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike

Three cases carry the finish: Operation Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil, and the wear is random when the case opens. The second route is a trade-up contract, where five Covert skins from one collection produce a single special item, though neither the model nor the finish can be chosen. A particular wear is bought as a ready listing.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike in Field-Tested makes sense in three cases:

  • you want a rust-and-black pair: gloves are in your own hands every round, while a knife is mostly seen on inspection, and people pay for that constant visibility;

  • your CS2 loadout is built in orange and dark tones;

  • price matters: Factory New costs 7.72 times as much, and the scuffs on the creases come with the wear itself.
