What the ★ Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze look like in Minimal Wear

The base is acid green, nearly lime. A large graphite-gray panel covers the back of the hand, ribbed vertically and scuffed pale along the ridges. The lime field frames that panel and carries on over the fingers, and a small triangular logo sits on the cuff. The palm and inner fingers are yellow-green, washed with gray and white and padded with light inserts. A fine scale emboss runs across the lime fabric.

This wear spans 0.07 to 0.15. In Minimal Wear the knuckles and fingertips have lightened, the lime bleaching toward pale yellow. The edges of the graphite panel turn gray as well. Factory New (FN) shows none of that, the fabric holding an even tone across the back.

Valve made the finish: no Workshop submission exists, and the author field names the studio. They were released on November 28, 2016 with the Glove Case, and from the next year the Operation Hydra Case handed out the same pair. Valve's catalog of finishes carries them as number 10038. Valve's own text assigns the gloves to a fictional outfit, Icarus Athletics, and adds that only cowards fear flying close to the sun.

Phase and pattern

Gloves have no phases and no gems: a listing title holds the finish and the wear. The copies are not identical even so. The pattern index shifts the texture on the palm side, the last place anyone looks, and on the player model in CS2 the palm is barely in view. No named rare variations exist here, and no premium attaches to a lucky number, so the choice comes down to float.
