★ Sport Gloves | Omega (Field-Tested)

The ★ Sport Gloves | Omega in Field-Tested (FT) is a black pair with strong yellow accents. Extraordinary rank, with the star. The Omega can drop from the Clutch Case or the Revolution Case. The finish has five wears, but Factory New is confined to a narrow band of 0.06 to 0.07, because the scale is cut off at the bottom.

What the ★ Sport Gloves | Omega look like in Field-Tested

The panel on the back of the hand is dark gray with a greenish cast and a fine triangular relief, and thin yellow lines follow its ribs. A yellow trim outlines the cuff and the fingers, and wide yellow inserts sit at the base of the fingers. The palm is black-gray and glossy, with gray pads on the fingertips. Valve describes the gloves as black with strong yellow accents.

The ★ Sport Gloves | Omega in this wear are held to a float of 0.15 to 0.38. On a black-and-yellow scheme, wear shows in the yellow trim: it loses its brightness first at the creases. The scuffing is fixed at drop, and a listing does not change with time.

What to check before buying

Choosing a particular ★ Sport Gloves | Omega comes down to these points:

• in this wear the ★ Sport Gloves | Omega cover a long stretch, 0.15 to 0.38, so comparing several listings is worthwhile;

• the yellow trim on the cuff and fingers: in the screenshot it shows the condition of the creases;

• the wear in the listing title: Minimal Wear is two and a half times dearer, and Factory New almost eight times.

What the ★ Sport Gloves | Omega cost in Field-Tested

The Omega is seventh from the bottom among the nineteen Sport Gloves finishes: six cost less and twelve cost more. Scarlet Shamagh is cheaper by only a little, about seven percent, and Big Game by more than a quarter. Amphibious is dearer by more than one and a half times, and Vice by two and a quarter. Bronze Morph costs less than half as much as the Omega.

Across the wears, the ladder is as follows:

• Factory New is almost eight times dearer;

• Minimal Wear is two and a half times dearer;

• Well-Worn is a sixth cheaper;

• Battle-Scarred is cheaper by about thirty percent.

Getting the ★ Sport Gloves | Omega

There are two cases for the Omega: the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. In each, the Omega sits as a rare special item, and the wear comes out at random. A contract works differently: five Covert skins of one collection go in, a rare special item comes out, and neither the model nor the finish is chosen. The float you want is bought as a ready listing.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Sport Gloves | Omega in this wear makes sense if:

• you want a black pair with a yellow accent for a CS2 loadout;

• a nearly eightfold surcharge for Factory New is not justified;

• you want a finish from the lower half of the Sport Gloves lineup.
