★ Sport Gloves | Pandora's Box (Factory New)

★ Sport Gloves | Pandora's Box in Factory New (FN): the second most expensive Sport Gloves finish in CS2 and the coldest palette at the top of the rank. The rank is Extraordinary, and a ★ opens the name. Two sources feed the pair, the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case. The finish bottoms out at 0.06, so a true zero float does not exist here.

What the ★ Sport Gloves | Pandora's Box look like in Factory New

The field is a deep purple with a metallic sheen, drifting to blue-lilac over the fingers and palm with pale blue and steel highlights. A dark violet panel with vertical raised bars holds the back of the hand, nearly black at its edges, and thin turquoise strokes run along the bars. Scale embossing lies over the purple, glossy lacquered patches show at the base of the fingers, and the cuff is wrapped in the same dark fabric.

In Factory New the sheen is whole across the hand and the bars keep their color right to the tops. Those tops and the knuckles rub out first: the purple lightens there and the gray base comes through. Wear on this pair therefore reads as bald spots on the relief rather than as a faded color.

Where the ★ Sport Gloves | Pandora's Box came from

Valve drew the finish itself, with no Workshop author behind it; the catalog of finishes numbers it 10037. The release date is November 28, 2016, with the Glove Case Skins update, when gloves first appeared in CS:GO as a class of item. The Glove Case was later joined by a second source, the Operation Hydra Case.

Phase and pattern

Copies do differ, and the pattern guide notes the pattern spread on this pair. All of it is on the palm side, where the pattern index moves how the texture lands. The finish has no named rare patterns and no premium attached to an index number. Valve has even repaired that texture: a note dated October 16, 2025 lists fixes to Driver and Sport Gloves textures.

What to check before buying

Across listings, this gets compared:

• the float: this grade runs 0.06–0.07, and the lower edge is the cleanest the pair gets;

• the palm side, the only thing the pattern index changes and the price ignores;

• the wear in the title: by Minimal Wear (MW) the price has fallen several times over.

What the ★ Sport Gloves | Pandora's Box cost in Factory New

The grade fits into 0.06–0.07, so listings look alike and the price of the listing decides.

Minimal Wear is roughly four times cheaper than this grade and Field-Tested about seven and a half. Well-Worn (WW) sits lower still, although the wear on it is more obvious, and Battle-Scarred (BS) drops twelve times down.

Only one Sport Gloves finish costs more: Hedge Maze, about a third above. Below, the gaps open faster — Superconductor is two and a half times cheaper and Vice almost four.

Getting the ★ Sport Gloves | Pandora's Box

The Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case both carry the pair in their gold slot. A trade-up contract also works: five Covert skins of one collection turn into one random rare special item.

Who this wear suits

Factory New is the right call when:

• the loadout is going for a cold purple and blue palette;

• the relief has to be intact, since on worn copies the tops of the bars gray out first;

• you want the top of the rank without paying for the most expensive pair in CS2.
