★ Sport Gloves | Vice (Field-Tested)

The ★ Sport Gloves | Vice in Field-Tested (FT) is a pink-and-turquoise pair with a gray textured panel across the back of the hand. Extraordinary rank, with the star. The gloves drop from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. The finish's float scale is cut off at the bottom and starts at 0.06, which leaves Factory New a narrow strip, while Battle-Scarred reaches 0.80.

What the ★ Sport Gloves | Vice look like in Field-Tested

A gray panel with a fine triangular relief covers the back of the hand, and turquoise bars run down it vertically. Pink-purple fabric surrounds the panel, running from the cuff down the fingers to the tips. A turquoise trim outlines the cuff and the finger edges. The palm is dark gray leather with glossy highlights. Valve calls the fabrics pink and blue, but on the model the blue reads as turquoise.

Wear on these gloves shows as rubbed fabric and leather, not as scratches: the finger creases, the knuckles and the cuff edge give way first. The ★ Sport Gloves | Vice carry a float of 0.15 to 0.38 in this wear. The wear is set when the item drops and never changes, so the color on a listing matches the color in its screenshot.

Where the ★ Sport Gloves | Vice come from

The finish debuted in the Clutch Case. Valve released the Revolution Case on February 10, 2023. Its update note speaks of seventeen weapon finishes from community artists and presents the gloves from the Clutch Case as a rare special item. Valve's own item text calls the gloves athletic, sewn from technical synthetic fabrics, and finds the pink-and-blue pairing eye-catching.

What to check before buying

Three things matter on a ★ Sport Gloves | Vice listing:

• float: the ★ Sport Gloves | Vice in this wear cover 0.15 to 0.38, and listings from the two ends of that span look different;

• the trim on the cuff and fingers: it is the finest detail of the finish, and the screenshot shows the condition of the fabric along it;

• the wear in the listing title: Minimal Wear costs three times as much, and the colors of the pair are the same in both wears.

What the ★ Sport Gloves | Vice cost in Field-Tested

Nineteen Sport Gloves finishes have a price in this wear, and Vice is eighth from the top. Seven finishes cost more, and Nocts, one of them, is about one and a half times dearer. Slingshot and Amphibious are cheaper, and the most affordable finish on the model is Bronze Morph. Hedge Maze, Pandora's Box and Superconductor head the list. The span of 0.15 to 0.38 is 0.23 of the skin's 0.74 scale, roughly a third.

Across the wears, the ladder runs like this:

• Factory New is more than fifteen times dearer;

• Minimal Wear is three times dearer;

• Well-Worn is about a tenth cheaper;

• Battle-Scarred is cheaper by more than one and a half times.

Getting the ★ Sport Gloves | Vice

The finish has two cases, the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. In both, the gloves sit in the rare special item slot, and the wear comes out at random. The other route is a trade-up contract: five Covert skins of one collection exchange for a single rare special item, and neither the model nor the finish can be chosen there. A specific wear can only be had as a ready listing.

Who this wear suits

Field-Tested suits a buyer of the ★ Sport Gloves | Vice under these conditions:

• price matters: Factory New costs more than fifteen times as much;

• you want float room: across 0.15 to 0.38 there is something to choose from by screenshot.
