★ StatTrak™ Bayonet

The ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet in CS2 without a skin is a bayonet with a kill counter and no skin on the blade: the lot description reads "Not Painted". Covert rank, with the ★ mark. Everything except the counter has been taken out of the knife, and it has no wear name, wear, float or pattern.

What the ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet looks like

The blade is narrow and straight, with a deep fuller along it and an oval cutout near the point. The light steel carries no painting, and the spine is flat.

The handle is built from ribbed rings in pale khaki, with a steel cap at the butt and a flat plate for the guard. The knife has exactly two colors: light metal and the muted greenish-sand material of the handle.

How the plain ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet differs from a skinned one

There are two differences at once: the skin itself is gone, but the counter remains.

• no wear name is assigned, and no wear or float is set;

• the pattern is not drawn, so lots differ only in price and counter reading;

• the knife takes a name tag, and the name is kept;

• there are no stickers: knives have no slots for them.

Of the lot's characteristics, one is left: the counter reading.

What the ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet costs

Among the Bayonet's skins, the counter version by starting "from" price sits a little below the middle of the line-up: eighteen skins are cheaper and sixteen more expensive. Beneath it come Lore (a quarter cheaper), Case Hardened (a seventh) and Autotronic (a ninth).

Above it are Tiger Tooth and Slaughter, both almost level, and Marble Fade (a quarter more). At the top, Doppler Ruby and Gamma Doppler Emerald cost about six and a half times as much, and Doppler Black Pearl nine times.

The plain ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet

The plain Bayonet without a skin is a separate listing on its own page. It is almost a quarter cheaper than the counter version. Everything else matches between the two lots, so the choice is a kill counter against the saving.

Getting the ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet

The counter version drops from the same eleven cases as the plain one. These are the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case, the Revolver Case, the CS:GO Weapon Case, the Operation Bravo Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 3 and the eSports 2014 Summer Case. The other five are the Winter Offensive Weapon Case, the eSports 2013 Case, the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2 and the eSports 2013 Winter Case.

Bare steel sits in the rare special item pool beside the skins, so the result of an opening is random. A trade-up contract also yields this knife. It takes five Covert StatTrak™ skins, which cannot be mixed with normal ones, and neither the model nor the skin of the result can be chosen. Ready lots are for sale on LIS-SKINS.

Who it suits

The ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet without a skin is a fit if:

• you want a Bayonet with a counter but no colored skin;

• you like the light steel of the blade and the khaki of the handle;

• you would rather not pay for Doppler and Gamma Doppler on this model.
