What the ★ Survival Knife | Slaughter looks like in Factory New

The base of the blade is pink-red, from coral tones to dark red, with diagonal zebra stripes running over it like chevrons. The handle is black, with ribbed inserts. Valve describes the pattern as zebra in aluminum and chrome paint of differing reflectivity, under a tomato-red clear coat.

Slaughter never comes with a float of 0.00: the scale is cut at 0.01 at the bottom. In Factory New the lacquer is intact along the whole blade, and wear, once dealt at the drop, does not change later.

Where the ★ Survival Knife | Slaughter came from

The survival knife itself arrived with the Shattered Web Case on November 19, 2019, and Slaughter is among its finishes. The finish's second source is the Fracture Case.

What to check before buying

When picking a ★ Survival Knife | Slaughter listing, this is what matters:

• the wear in the listing title: the finish has three wears, and Factory New is the priciest of them;

• a name on the handle: a name tag goes on this knife, and stickers do not attach to it;

• StatTrak on the survival knife is a separate listing, so in the list it cannot be confused with the regular one.

Between 0.01 and 0.07 the knife looks the same: wear in this band is invisible.
