★ Talon Knife | Night Stripe (Field-Tested)

The ★ Talon Knife | Night Stripe (Field-Tested, FT) puts the same Covert ★ tape-mask paint job onto a mid-range float. Field-Tested sits in the middle of the finish's 0.06–0.80 range, keeping the stripe pattern readable while showing a bit more handling than the cleaner grades.

Design

Brass rivets and saw-tooth ridges frame an ivory handle beneath the blade's dark tape-mask paint job, sprayed on in the finish's signature night ops stripes. The flavor line "Spray... Pray... Paint... Stab." sums up that stenciled, improvised feel.

★ Talon Knife | Night Stripe (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested covers 0.15–0.38 on the float scale, comfortably inside the finish's 0.06–0.80 range and noticeably higher-float than Minimal Wear (MW). The stripe pattern still reads well at this grade, though the edges pick up a touch more visible use than the two cleaner wears above it.

Talon Knife | Night Stripe Rarity

As a Covert ★ item, this finish belongs to the rare-special ("knife") category that Valve pulls out from regular weapon grades entirely. It's the gold-tier drop in whichever case produces it, independent of what wear a given copy lands on.

Talon Knife | Night Stripe Case and Collection

The Night Stripe doesn't come from one dedicated collection — it's available out of multiple cases, the Horizon Case and Danger Zone Case being two of them. That rare-special tier sits at about 0.26% across case openings generally, which pushes most buyers toward the market instead.

Talon Knife | Night Stripe Patterns

Because this is a fixed finish, the tape-mask stripe design looks identical from copy to copy — the paint seed has no effect on the visual pattern itself. Skip the seed hunt; float and wear are the only real differences between listings.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ edition of the knife tracks confirmed kills for good, following the item through any future trade or sale. No Souvenir version exists for it, as knives are never part of Major-tournament souvenir drops.

Talon Knife | Night Stripe Price

Field-Tested lands in the middle of the Night Stripe's own price ladder, cheaper than the two cleaner grades but ahead of Well-Worn (WW) and Battle-Scarred (BS), keeping the finish overall in the mid-tier bracket for this knife. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

What does Field-Tested look like on the Night Stripe?

The tape-mask stripe pattern still comes through clearly at this float, with the ivory handle and brass rivets intact — it just shows a bit more general wear than the Factory New (FN) or Minimal Wear copies. It's a solid middle ground between a mint look and a heavily worn one.

How do I get a Talon Knife Night Stripe?

It drops from more than one case, including the Horizon Case and the Danger Zone Case, at the rare-special ("knife") rate of roughly 0.26% per opening. Given those odds, most players buy the finish directly on the market instead of opening cases for it.

Does the Talon Knife Night Stripe have StatTrak?

Yes — a StatTrak™ version exists with a kill counter that stays with the knife permanently across trades and sales. It does not have a Souvenir version, since knives are excluded from Major-tournament souvenir packages entirely.
