The AK-47 | Aphrodite in Well-Worn (WW) is a narrow slice of the scale between Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred, just 0.07 out of 1.00. The float band for this wear runs from 0.38 to 0.45. The rank is Covert, and the skin came to CS2 as a limited edition item that no case contains.
What the AK-47 | Aphrodite looks like in Well-Worn
The finish is built on a contrast of materials. Pale pearl-effect wood on the handguard and stock sits next to dark olive-gold metal on the receiver and barrel. The magazine has ribs and a copper base, the grip is orange-brown, and the small parts, the trigger guard and the gas block, are brass.
In Well-Worn the two halves of the rifle age differently. On the light wood, scuffs run along the edges, yet the carved relief still reads. The receiver metal carries an even dark patina with no bare patches. Wear is fixed when the skin drops, so every copy of this wear sits in the same narrow band of condition.
A spread of 0.38 to 0.45 is so small that float is not worth choosing by. Pattern is what you pick on, since it is what sets one listing apart from another.
What to check before buying
On an AK-47 | Aphrodite listing, these are the points to look at:
- pattern: Valve writes that the finish differs by both wear and pattern, so the placement of pearl and patina is unique to each copy;
- float: across seven hundredths it decides almost nothing;
- stickers and name tag: they are already applied to that particular rifle.
The release note is titled "The Fourth Season" and dated January 21, 2026. That is where Valve said the pattern is randomized on this skin.
What the AK-47 | Aphrodite costs in Well-Worn
The other wears, measured against this one:
- Factory New runs to more than twenty times this price;
- Minimal Wear costs more than double;
- Field-Tested costs almost a third more;
- Battle-Scarred costs a few percent more.
Well-Worn turns out to be the cheapest of the five wears, even though only a few percent separate it from Battle-Scarred.
Of the Covert AK-47s, this skin in Well-Worn is priced below all the rest. Head Shot, Aquamarine Revenge, The Oligarch and Legion of Anubis cost nearly three times as much, and Inheritance three and a half times. At the other end of the row stand Fire Serpent, Gold Arabesque and Wild Lotus.
Where the AK-47 | Aphrodite came from
Valve made this finish itself and never put it up on the Steam Workshop. It was released on January 21, 2026, in the update that added the limited edition item. The item description promises metallic paint on the receiver and barrel and a pearl-effect finish on the handguard and stock. In Valve's list the finish is number 1397.
Getting the AK-47 | Aphrodite
No case holds this skin. It was redeemed in the Armory with credits earned through XP in matches. The finish has no collection and stands apart from every Valve set.
StatTrak and Souvenir
No StatTrak version of the AK-47 | Aphrodite was released, and there were never souvenir packages for it, since those were made only for tournament map collections. A souvenir copy can still be assembled by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin from your inventory. That is why a lone souvenir copy occasionally turns up even though no packages ever existed.
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Aphrodite
On Well-Worn the shimmer is already subdued, and a bright sticker pulls the eye away from it. White, silver and graphite keep the rifle itself as the main thing you see. The gold and copper parts, the magazine and the guard, sit well with warm-toned stickers.
Who this wear suits
Well-Worn is the right buy under these conditions:
- you want a Covert AK-47 for CS2 at the lowest price of the five wears;
- float matters little, and you are happy to compare listings by how the pattern looks;
- the pearl wood should stay distinguishable despite visible wear.
If you want a slightly more intact body, Field-Tested is the step to take: it costs almost a third more.
