The AK-47 | Crane Flight in Factory New (FN) is a finish with untouched paint and full gloss on the gold. In this wear it covers a float of 0.00 to 0.07. It is a Classified skin, and the rifle belongs to the Dead Hand Collection.
What the AK-47 | Crane Flight looks like in Factory New
The base is cream-white. Gray graphite cranes are drawn over it: a flock on the receiver and the cover, sparse birds on the handguard, a separate scene on the stock. Small characters are scattered alongside. The gold parts are glossy: the sight, the gas tube bracket, the guard and the edges of the cover. The red disc on the stock is the only bright spot outside the gold.
In Factory New the paint is untouched. The white is even along the full length, the graphics are whole from the barrel to the butt, and the gold throws back light. The barrel and the gas block stay dark, with no paint. The magazine is white, with a wing drawn across it. A copy like this is judged against worn ones by the shine of the metal and the cleanness of the edges.
Where the AK-47 | Crane Flight came from
The AK-47 | Crane Flight appeared on March 11, 2026, when the Dead Hand Collection was added to the game. In its update note Valve described the collection as seventeen finishes from community authors plus twenty-two new glove looks. The items from the collection were opened through a terminal.
Aresad drew the rifle. The Workshop submission was titled "AK-47 | Crane Flight V3" and dated May 1, 2024. The author explained the idea like this. In Japan the crane is tied to immortality, happiness and love, and by an old legend a wish comes true for whoever has folded a thousand paper cranes. He coated part of the body and the wood in glossy metallic paint. Its Valve catalog number is 1425.
What to check before buying
What to look at in an AK-47 | Crane Flight listing:
- float: the band is narrow, and the difference between its edges is almost invisible;
- the whiteness of the handguard edge and the butt plate;
- stickers and name tag already on that copy of the AK-47 | Crane Flight.
The artwork on the AK-47 | Crane Flight is applied identically across the whole run. Its spread of 0.00 to 0.07 is so small that picking by float is pointless.
What the AK-47 | Crane Flight costs in Factory New
Next to Factory New, the other wears are cheaper by:
- Minimal Wear: about twice;
- Field-Tested: almost four times;
- Well-Worn: more than five times;
- Battle-Scarred: about six and a half times.
The Factory New band takes seven percent of the finish's scale. The step to Minimal Wear is the largest in the ladder, and what is paid for there is exactly the even gloss of the gold.
Among Classified AK-47 finishes at Factory New, the skin is seventh of fourteen, right in the middle. Point Disarray is almost level, Nouveau Rouge is slightly higher, and The Outsiders and Cartel are below. Frontside Misty is twice as expensive, after which prices diverge: Hydroponic is tens of times higher.
Getting the AK-47 | Crane Flight
The AK-47 | Crane Flight drops from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. No other case holds the finish.
A trade-up for the AK-47 | Crane Flight takes ten skins one rank lower from one collection. The Dead Hand Collection has five Restricted skins, for example Desert Eagle | Firebreathing and M4A1-S | Electrum, and the result is a random one of three Classified skins.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Crane Flight
The AK-47 | Crane Flight has a StatTrak version. No souvenir packages were released for this finish: those were made only for the tournament map collections. But a souvenir copy can be built by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from the inventory. That is why a few souvenir copies turn up now and then, even where no packages ever existed.
On a clean body every sticker shows whole. Dark ones work best, red ones echo the disc on the stock, and white and gold ones vanish into the cream base and the gilding. The handguard and the underside of the stock are free. The cranes on the receiver are better left uncovered: the finish is recognized by them.
Who this wear suits
Buying the AK-47 | Crane Flight in this wear is worth it if:
- you want an untouched white AK with shiny gold for a CS2 inventory;
- stability matters: the float lies in a band of seven hundredths, and listings do not differ;
- a craft on a clean light base suits you.
If the shine matters less, the same graphics come in Minimal Wear at half the price. In CS2 the difference is barely visible.
