AK-47 | Crane Flight (Minimal Wear)

In Minimal Wear (MW) the AK-47 | Crane Flight still has an even white base, and the gilding on the high points holds its gloss. Wear in this grade runs between 0.07 and 0.15. The rank is Classified, and the rifle drops from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal.

What the AK-47 | Crane Flight looks like in Minimal Wear

The ground is an off-white with a slight cream tint, and cranes are laid across it in thin gray-graphite lines. The birds are thickest over the receiver and the dust cover; on the handguard the drawing thins out, and the stock holds a separate scene with a round red disc. Gold picks out the front sight, the gas tube bracket, the trigger guard and the rim of the dust cover, and all of these parts are glossy. The magazine is white, carrying the wing drawing, and the barrel and gas block are dark, unpainted. Small ideographic marks are hidden among the lines.

In Minimal Wear the white base grays only in spots: the lip of the handguard, the butt plate, the top of the receiver. The thin crane lines are intact along their full length. They break up sooner than the large patches, but this band does not get that far. The gilding on the high points dulls only barely and is nowhere rubbed down to metal.

Where the AK-47 | Crane Flight came from

The Dead Hand Collection opened in the game on March 11, 2026. In the catalog of finishes the rifle is number 1425. It was made by Aresad, a Steam Workshop artist, while the drawing itself is signed as the work of GhostRider. The author posted the submission "AK-47 | Crane Flight V3" on May 1, 2024, almost two years before release.

In his own words, the crane in Japanese mythology is a symbol of immortality, prosperity, happiness and love. He deliberately covered the tree and part of the body in metallic paint.

What to check before buying

On AK-47 | Crane Flight listings, compare these points:

• the float: at the upper edge of the grade the top of the receiver goes a little gray;

• the shine of the gilding on the front sight and the rim of the dust cover;

• a name tag and stickers, if they are already on this AK-47 | Crane Flight.

There is no pattern index to chase on the AK-47 | Crane Flight: all copies match. The grade fits inside 0.07 to 0.15, so listings look alike.

What the AK-47 | Crane Flight costs in Minimal Wear

The ratios to the other grades are these:

• Factory New costs about twice as much;

• Field-Tested is nearly half the price;

• Well-Worn is cheaper by more than half;

• Battle-Scarred is about a third of the price.

The step down is bigger than the step up, and the reason is the gilding: it holds exactly up to this grade and goes matte after it. That is why Minimal Wear stands closer to the factory price than to the field one.

Among Classified AK-47 finishes in this grade the skin is eighth of fifteen counting up. Right above it is AK-47 | Frontside Misty; below it are AK-47 | Cartel, AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge and AK-47 | Point Disarray. AK-47 | Jet Set and AK-47 | Hydroponic hold the top of the rank, and AK-47 | Searing Rage is the cheapest.

Getting the AK-47 | Crane Flight

The first source is the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal, handed out weekly for time played. The skin can also be built through a trade-up, with ten skins from the rank below in the set going into it. This rifle is not the cheapest input for such a trade.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Crane Flight

The AK-47 | Crane Flight has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish turn up as well, though no Souvenir packages were ever made for it: packages only ever covered tournament map collections. Those copies are built with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a normal skin from the inventory.

The background is light and already taken up by artwork, so dark stickers read best, while white ones vanish on the cream base. Gold stickers blend into the fittings. The handguard and the lower stock are free; avoid covering the receiver with its cranes, since that is where the finish's recognizability rests. At this grade the surface is still clean, and the mark left by a removed sticker will be noticeable.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear on the AK-47 | Crane Flight is worth buying when:

• you want a white AK with intact gilding, but without paying double for Factory New;

• predictability matters: listings within the grade barely differ;

• the rifle is going into a CS2 showcase and close inspection, not into combat in CS2.

For play this grade is overkill: at a distance the white base and the gold look the same at any float.
