What the AK-47 | Frontside Misty looks like in Factory New

Over the black body spreads a light ornament of curls that looks like tribal decoration. It covers the handguard, the receiver, the stock and the magazine. Turquoise lines trace the details with a glowing edge: the front sight, the gas tube, the handguard casing and the magazine ribs. Valve calls the palette arctic.

In Factory New the turquoise is saturated along its whole length, and the edges of the handguard, the magazine and the receiver are not rubbed away. The black base shows bare metal nowhere, so the white curls read crisply. The float band here is 0.02 to 0.07, and nothing within it changes the look of the skin.

Valve itself is the author of the AK-47 | Frontside Misty; the finish has no outside artist. It was released on September 17, 2015. Valve's database lists the skin under catalog number 490.

Factory New is the right call for the AK-47 | Frontside Misty when:
