This is the AK-47 | Inheritance in Battle-Scarred (BS), and the porcelain is chipped. The gold edging along the ribs is worn off and dark scars show on the cream planes. The float sits within 0.45–0.80, and the scale of this rifle goes no higher. It is Covert rank, and the finish drops from the Kilowatt Case.
What the AK-47 | Inheritance looks like in Battle-Scarred
A cream-white base with blue porcelain painting covers the handguard, the pad, the receiver and the stock. The magazine and pistol grip are blue, but the painting on them is gold: the same floral motif, gold on blue. Gold is used for the magazine floor and for the thin thread along the edges of the white parts; blue for the front sight post with the gas block. The barrel is light and carries no painting.
In Battle-Scarred only scraps of the gold edging remain: the line lies exactly on the rib and goes first. After it the corners of the stock, the edge of the handguard and the mouth of the magazine are knocked out, and dark metal shows through.
The white planes with their painted work are still whole: the pattern on the receiver side and on the stock reads in full. But a dark scar on a light ground shows at once, so the rifle looks scuffed even from a distance.
Where the AK-47 | Inheritance came from
The finish's author is Endrit. He posted the submission, "Ak-47 | Inheritance | CS2", on December 23, 2018, and the artwork reached the game only five years on. The author described the work in one line: Chinese porcelain and Delft blauw painting.
The Kilowatt Collection is dated February 6, 2024. In Valve's finish catalog this artwork stands at number 1171.
What to check before buying
In a listing for the AK-47 | Inheritance, check these parameters:
- the float: at 0.45 the gold line can still be guessed at on the edges, at 0.80 nothing is left of it;
- the mouth of the magazine and the corners of the stock, where scars show most on the blue and the gold;
- any stickers or name tag this copy already carries.
The AK-47 | Inheritance carries one artwork on every copy, and there are no rare ones. Within 0.45–0.80 it changes visibly, so the listing is picked by the number.
What the AK-47 | Inheritance costs in Battle-Scarred
Nothing is cheaper than this wear. Field-Tested costs only a tenth more, and Well-Worn about a quarter more: so Well-Worn asks more than Field-Tested, a step cleaner.
Past that the steps grow: Minimal Wear costs about three quarters more, and Factory New about three times as much.
Among Covert AK-47 skins this finish is sixth of twenty-three by price, counting upward. Near it stand the AK-47 | Legion of Anubis and the AK-47 | Aquamarine Revenge, with the AK-47 | Asiimov slightly dearer. The cheapest in the rank is the AK-47 | Aphrodite. The top is held by the AK-47 | Fire Serpent, the AK-47 | Gold Arabesque and the AK-47 | Wild Lotus.
Getting the AK-47 | Inheritance
The rifle drops from the Kilowatt Case, and no other case has this finish.
A trade-up also yields the AK-47 | Inheritance: ten skins of the rank below, one collection. The Kilowatt Collection has two Covert finishes, so the odds split evenly. Covert rank also feeds a trade-up toward a knife: the Kilowatt Case produces the Kukri Knife.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Inheritance
The AK-47 | Inheritance has a StatTrak™ version. Souvenir copies of the finish exist too, but no packages were ever released for it: they were made only for the map collections of tournaments. Such copies are built through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory.
An expensive craft does not pay off on a beaten base: some of the edges are already knocked out, and a sticker would go on bare ground. Cheap stickers, though, work here like patches, and the white field of the stock and handguard holds both dark and colored graphics. The side with the ornament is usually left open.
Who this wear suits
The AK-47 | Inheritance in Battle-Scarred is worth buying in these cases:
- you want a blue-and-white rifle for CS2 at the finish's lowest price;
- the gold edging does not matter, since that is what the clean wears charge extra for;
- the rifle will be played, and the craft is built from cheap stickers.
What is lost here is the gold edging: the lines along the edges are worn off, and the magazine mouth and stock corners are bare. The painting on the handguard and top cover, everything seen in first person in CS2, stays in place.
